The Mayor swishes up to the podium...

He's gonna call for more gun control, I know it.

I got the spelling from AppyPappy's post.

I think we can probably get George Tenet to accept responsibility for the screw up. He'll take the blame for anything.

His brother was being really kooky but I think he was just incredibly distraught. Remember, this was minutes after he ID'ed his brother's corpse.

LOL. Thanks.

The notion that some black guy simply whipped out a gun and shot his brother will probably be the last thing to cross that moron's mind.

"This never would have happened if those white cracker cops at the door had frisked every black person who came through the door to City Hall!" /sarcasm off/

LOL. Davis tried to sue him once, I think I remember.

It doesn't matter how many people are in New York. It only matters how many people are in the vicinity of a bad guy at the exact time. There very well may be more people in the vicinity of a bad guy in Alaska as there were in the area of the shooter in the New York City Hall.

Are you going to tell me no one gets mugged in New York because witnesses are piled on top of each other?

For him to call for gun control in a case when the victim took out the perpetrator, that is a huge liberal stretch. It is a shame the mayor is a Repub. I doubt Rudy would say something like that, at least I hope not.

Two people are no longer with us -- prayers are with both families!

James Davis came into City Hall along with a Mr. Askew who had filed papers to run against James Davis in the next primary this Fall. Have films of them walking in together. They did not go through the magnatomiter. City Council Members and the Mayor did not go through the magnatomiters. Effective immediately EVERYONE will go throught the magnatomiter.

Few minutes later in the balcony of City Hall it would appear that Mr. Askew shot James Davis and Mr. Askew was, in turn, shot by a NYC police officer.

Still preliminary. Don't know any motives. Facts so far. Does not appear there is anything else to the story except a dispute to these two men. The public should not worry that someone is out on the streets with a gun to put their lives in danger. Believe it is all contained right here.

If by "security" you mean encouraging people to train and arm themselves, I'm with you. Or do you mean attempting to disarm folks and provide gun free "kill zones", for the criminals safety and security?

I have no idea but he is looking over his shoulder and is right next to him. Kind of creepy if you ask me. Speaker of the City Council who could not wait to get to the podium. Pretty rude if you ask me -- he gave the Mayor no space -- bet he is a DemocRAT!

I'm referring to the "security" that is supposed to be in place at City Hall, not the security that I would have in place at City Hall.

With my security in place there would be no need for police officers.

I think it's a stunning example of the lunacy that has been so ingrained into this guys mind. Racism is to blame for everything that goes wrong in this black mans life.
