ABC radio news: man pulled out handgun on balcony of 2nd floor and fired repeatedly at somebody. Screaming resulted inside building. Police told everybody to get out. 2 police officers injured. Bloomberg in office on first floor, unharmed.

Councilman Michael McMahon is saying that the shooter was inside the council chambers inside the room and firing down the aisle.
I am now seeing two men on stretchers being brought from inside the building.

They are reporting the person got away and that they are shuting down the Brooklyn Bridge
