MSNBC: Alleged (Kobe Byrant) Victim seen bragging at a party 3 days later
MSNBC.COM ^ | 7/22/03 | MSNBC

Posted on 07/22/2003 8:20:57 AM PDT by Smogger

I just saw it on MSNBC. They said she was at a party a week ago, 3 days before Kobe was charged.

They said she was drinking (consumption by a minor) and playing cards, and was bragging about.....(MSNBC took out the audio at the end of sentence)

The story was confirmed by 5 people at separate places and times who were at the party and all gave a similar account of what happened.

When asked how the girl looked, the guy interviewed said she looked happy. Everyone was shocked to see her at the party given the incident.

I think someone may have even asked how hung was Kobe upon which she described with hand gestures. She seemed to be bragging according to a friend, but said she couldn't tell them what happened that night.

This just keeps getting better and better...

The point is these "friends" are being paid for their stories. These mags don't want to hear the alleged victim was a saint. They want dirt. Some of her so called friends are only to happy to oblige thus raking in many dollars. Unfortunately, we can not be sure who is telling the truth and will have to wait for the trial. If the girl was injured, and it looks like she was, Kobe is going down and rightfully so.

Apprently everything is a probably lie..

No, it could be a lies though. I don't trust these people that are coming out of the woodwork on all these shows, they have nothing to lose by lying.

You mean... can be, conceivable, conceivably, could be, credible, feasible, imaginably, might be, obtainable, perchance, perhaps, weather permitting (Concept: probability) might be a lie?

You're such a hypocrite... how exactly is hotel girl any different than the other people coming out of the woodwork. Your OWN WORDS have proved that your views on this story stem from nothing but an unfounded hatred of Kobe and you have no real interest in learning the truth of this story. According to you... can't prove a negative... unless it's Kobe trying to prove he didn't do it... Unreliable colorado teenagers are coming out of the woodwork left-and-right lying because they have nothing to lose and everything to gain... unless it is poor little hotel girl... who has the most to gain out of any of them.

I don't know that he wasn't paid since he won't say who he is. He could be a Kobe fan, could be telling the truth or he could have been paid. I don't trust un-named sources.

I haven't seen it anywhere besides you spouting it off as your theory on what happened.

I think I stated my opinion of "un-named sources" in my original post.

Paid or not, either a person is a liar or a teller of truth.

By the Enquirer, who pays for such things. I haven't read one report from the tabloids yet. I have heard plenty of reports from friends on MSNBC/Fox and newspapers. NONE of which pay for stories.

If the girl was injured,

It's not important how she received the unknown unspeficied injures huh?

and it looks like she was,

How is that exactly? Oh yeah according to you the DA never whould have filed without UNSPEFICIED injuries. You obviously know nothing of the law or criminal complaints.

"I hold religion to be a deeply personal issue, and never a public one. Those who would espouse their religion, faith or superstitions upon the public, are to be more feared than terrorists at large."

Your quotes are there for all to see. They are hardly a personal attack. You are proud of them. They do discredit you though because, either you don't really mean what you write, or you really do think President George W. Bush (who espouses his religion in public) is "more to be feared" than Osama Bin Laden (terrorist at large).

With your comments, people get to read the disclaimer before buying the product. I would thereby take anything you write about Kobe Bryant with a grain of salt.

Come on, just by calling the girl "victim" instead of "alleged victim" does not mean the poster think Kobe is guilty. You are being legalistic. What are we CNN-for God's sake. How do you know he didn't do it? Kobe gets the benefit of the doubt. Yet, every piece of trash (some of it paid for) about the girl is breathlessly believed. We don't know if rape occurred, but there is enough evidence to have a trial.

    For the record
  1. Do you believe Juanita Broaddrick or Bill Clinton ?
  2. Do you believe Kathleen Willey or Bill Clinton ?
  3. Do you believe Paula Jones or Bill Clinton ?

I haven't seen it anywhere besides you spouting it off as your theory on what happened.

It was originally posted by PukinDog on another (much longer) thread, and his source was a TV station in Milan.

Sorry if your late to the party.

Of course since the DA filed charges and says he can prove his case beyond a reasonable doubt I have to assume that there was a victim. Now, during the trial we will see the evidence and find out WHAT happened. Something happened for sure since woman usually do not suffer vaginal tears during consentual sex.

being offered money? I did not know that.

All I will say is that it seems pretty damning if this is true, though of course I did not consider the possibility of bribes etc.

We will find out at the trial what happened.

Could you source the MSNBC report? They have it nowhere on the website. What reporter was it?

Where have you been? Kobe is the huge under-dog in this matter!

He has everything to lose and nothing to gain. His reputation is forever blackened, and only an aquital will spare him a prison sentence.

You're such a hypocrite... how exactly is hotel girl any different than the other people coming out of the woodwork.

She could get prison time for filing false charges like that girl who wrongly charged Michael Irvin. Plus the vicious attacks by the sports worshippers like you and the media. These people coming out of the woodwork have nothing to lose.

Your OWN WORDS have proved that your views on this story stem from nothing but an unfounded hatred of Kobe and you have no real interest in learning the truth of this story.

How so? I didn't hate Kobe before this. My views stem from speaking for an alleged victim before the facts are known. We don't know what the physical evidence is yet and a lot of people are calling her every name in the book.

According to you... can't prove a negative... unless it's Kobe trying to prove he didn't do it...

I'm waiting to see the physical evidence. It's too bad you Kobe worshippers can't wait until then before you go on total trash mode.

Unreliable colorado teenagers are coming out of the woodwork left-and-right lying because they have nothing to lose and everything to gain... unless it is poor little hotel girl... who has the most to gain out of any of them.

Most to gain? What is she gaining?

Completely false. Very common, especially if there is insufficient lubrication, her vagina is much smaller then his penis, etc.
