Actually, he called the LA Times and said nothing happened period. Actually he said "You know I would do anything like that" responding to the charge of sexual assault. The charge has always been sexual assault correct? Not adultry. Get you facts straight.

Actually her mother has come out and said for her friends to be silent and NOT talk to the media at all. Several of her friends have now cancelled all further interviews. And from this point on, we can probably assume anyone claiming to be her friend who gives an interview or shares "dirt", isn't her friend and is looking for their own 15 minutes.

What injuries? Source? We'll know at the trial.

The exact injuries were not detailed. I am sure it will be leaked at some point. However, three weeks is a long time for injuries to still show-especially since it's supposes to be consensual sex. Here is the post

He did not admit anything until he knew, The DNA evidence was irrefutable. And he shouldn't have if he only had consentual sex, and didn't believe that a rape charge was forthcoming (which he obviously didn't). Of course he would want to protect his image and fat endorsement contracts. If the DA had decided not to file the whole thing might have gone away. Though, I doubt it cause the little money hungry hussie already has a plaintiffs attorney.
She hired the plaintiff's attorney before Kobe was ever charged. It's about the $$.

"If she were devious enough to pull off this frolic on the sheets in order to get in Bryants pocketbook, why would she do something stoopid like this?"
Teens usually don't rat each other out unless they really hate each other or they are ready for everyone else to hate them. She probably thought they were all close enough friends that they wouldn't tell and if she was drinking she certainly wouldn't have been thinking straight.
To: nyconse
How do you know what the dna evidence was and is?? Furthermore... there's no talk, rumors or reports that he ever mislead the police about having sex with this girl. As for the press conference... "...i'd never do something like that.." seems pretty clear when someone is accusing you of sexual assault... some of you are so obsessed that your mind somehow heard "...i did not have sexual relations with that woman..." ... but sorry, that's not what he said.
To: Smogger
Who did she hire? I have not heard that. However, I would hire six lawyers if I was accusing a popular athlete like Kobe. Well, at least she won't the IRS sicked on her like Clinton's victims did.

The exact injuries were not detailed. So we don't even have the slightest idea if their were any injuries do we? And gimme any of that, "Well if their weren't any injuries the DA wouldn't have filed blah blah." That is complete nonesense the DA could file a sexual assault charge on the victim's testimony alone. Just ask Mike Tyson.

"3. The Enquirer would be much more interested in digging up dirt on the celebrity in this case (Kobe) then the alleged victim. "
And so far The Star and The Enquirer appear to bee staying far far away from this story.

The DA has DNA evidence. This has been widely reported. Kobe lied last week before the charges were brought to the LA Times.

She reported the attack within 12 hours, and there is tons of medical evidence and DNA.FACT: All we know for sure is that she waited 12 hours. ... Why?
If you are robbed, do you wait 12 hours before calling the police? If you are attacked and beaten, do you wait? My point is "Why did she wait?". That is not known. Did Kobe not call her in the morning? Did she find out she wasn't pregnant, thus lost out on 18 yrs worth of luxurious lifestyle in the form of child support? Did she decide that she felt 'cheap'? Why did she wait?
As for the tons of medical evidence and DNA.... Kobe has acknowedged that sex occurred, and that is is. Your allegation of medical evidence of 'rape' is not supported by fact. The only known 'fact' is the waiting period..... why?

Read the post. There are reported injuries. We just don't know what the injuries are specifically. I don't believe the DA would prosecute in a he said/she said case without evidence.

She's being TREATED anonymously... and very much by her own choice... she is not pressured into answering allegations and stories aginst her.... or into validating her allegations against Kobe in the media.Kobe isn't being pressured either, is he?
Maybe some of us "dirt diggers" here on the internet might have some personal information about her... but she is COMPLETELY ANONYMOUS in the mainstream media.
No she isn't. If she was completely anonymous, all these fame-seeking friends of hers wouldn't be on all the talk shows.
Very few people are surrounded constantly ... and we're not talking about how many times she picked her nose on wednesday, what time she ate dinner on thursday or how fast she drag-raced the president on friday. The lies you seem to be refering to...
Lies? I didn't call them lies. I said that it's easy to lie about an unfamous person. I don't know if they're lies or not.
...are incidents that occured with people around as witnesses.... or general assertions of character. Other peoples business tends to get circulated around a small town much faster than in the big city... and the talk about this girl is coming from locals who know her or know OF HER.... prior to these charges.
How do you know that? Just because it's a small town doesn't mean everyone knows everyone else. I didn't really know much about most of the 100 people I graduated with, certainly not enough to know everything they did every night.
You don't know what anybody other than yourself does all the time... Talk about this girl could be refused from the same pool of local resources that generated the talk in the first place.
Or maybe there was never even a party. If I called and said the girl was with me and my friends for a while last weekend, who could refute it? Can't prove a negative.

Kobe could bring charges against this girl- slander etc. The girls name and address were posted on the web yesterday. The lawyers got the post removed for one thing.

"I think someone may have even asked how hung was Kobe upon which she described with hand gestures. She seemed to be bragging according to a friend, but said she couldn't tell them what happened that night."and they said this on MSNBC. I want to see Norah O'Donnell report THIS story...
...on second thought, let's switch over to FOX and watch Laurie Dhue report it.
