He did not admit anything until he knew, The DNA evidence was irrefutable. And he shouldn't have if he only had consentual sex, and didn't believe that a rape charge was forthcoming (which he obviously didn't). Of course he would want to protect his image and fat endorsement contracts. If the DA had decided not to file the whole thing might have gone away. Though, I doubt it cause the little money hungry hussie already has a plaintiffs attorney.
She hired the plaintiff's attorney before Kobe was ever charged. It's about the $$.

Who did she hire? I have not heard that. However, I would hire six lawyers if I was accusing a popular athlete like Kobe. Well, at least she won't the IRS sicked on her like Clinton's victims did.

And if that's true, how do you know Kobe's people didn't approach her with a settlement offer? How long before Kobe was charged? Is it unreasonable that she would expect the charge, and simply hired an attorney in expectation?
