I just saw it on MSNBC. They said she was at a party a week ago, 3 days before Kobe was charged.
They said she was drinking (consumption by a minor) and playing cards, and was bragging about.....(MSNBC took out the audio at the end of sentence)
The story was confirmed by 5 people at separate places and times who were at the party and all gave a similar account of what happened.
When asked how the girl looked, the guy interviewed said she looked happy. Everyone was shocked to see her at the party given the incident.
I think someone may have even asked how hung was Kobe upon which she described with hand gestures. She seemed to be bragging according to a friend, but said she couldn't tell them what happened that night.
This just keeps getting better and better...
Well, I suppose that is one of the prices to pay for CHOSING to remain anonymous even after you have accused a person of a crime that could carry a life sentence. These stories about her could still be refuted... since colorado girl has no trouble leaking out through her accomplices.. I mean friends... that she was 'disgusted' by the Kobe press conference. Since there is a plethora of townspeople coming forward with stories about this girl... I dont see why there aren't plenty available to debunk or refute these stories. The "friend" who went to the OC register about the OD had no trouble trying to spin her original story by saying she was quoted out-of-context, after getting in trouble with her friend no doubt
Anyone can tell any lie they want about her because there's no one to refute it, she's not famous and therefore not watched all the time
Uhhh... no actually she's chosen to be anonymous.. hence she isn't available for refuting... Non-famous people are still afforded the same rights of slander and libel.
And there's the rub. As wrong as it is, adultery is not a crime. This, because he admitted adultery, still does not prove sexual assault.
Yes, Bryant could be guilty of sexual assault. But at this moment, it's totally inconclusive. I think that people who think he's automatically innocent are off the reservation. But so are those who think he is guilty.
There is no way to tell.
I agree. In stanger rapes, the victim is almost never blamed. It is the so-called "date rapes' where we often suspect the victim of contributing to her situation.
Let's face it, there is a huge difference between Kobe crawling through her bedroom window with a knife clenched between his teeth, and her voluntarily going to his motel room.
You heard it here first.
Actually, I worked in the hotel industry for several years as Room Service person, and later a Night Auditor. No. You don't goto guests rooms after you have clocked out.
You are entitled to your opinion. But try as I might, I just can't find the logic behind holding such an opinion at this moment. It escapes me.
WTF are you talking about? I worked at hotels both small and large, this one was very large with plenty of people (bellman etc) to provide 24 hour a day service for their rich guests. Hotel employees don't make shit and you don't do anything off the clock. You people are just talking out your ass at this point.
What? Do you think if you repeatedly make the assertion it will become fact?
Yes, she did. But that's all it is at this point, an allegation.
2. She had DNA evidence
Yes, DNA evidence of what Bryant already admitted. They had sex.
3. There was enough "collateral damage" to file charges
"Collateral damage" that has not been shown because there has yet to be a trial. That "collateral evidence" could be very damning for Bryant. But it could also be specious. There's no way to know until it is shown.
Next?
For your information these are enough to file charges.
She's not anonymous, everyone in the media knows who she is. But she's not followed like a famous person like Bryant is so it's easy to lie about a non-famous person.
These stories about her could still be refuted... since colorado girl has no trouble leaking out through her accomplices.. I mean friends... that she was 'disgusted' by the Kobe press conference.
How do you know that was true?
Since there is a plethora of townspeople coming forward with stories about this girl... I dont see why there aren't plenty available to debunk or refute these stories.
Because she's not surrounded 24/7 like Bryant is. If someone said something about a person here in my town, I couldn't refute it because the odds are low that I would know exactly what someone else here in town does all the time.
The "friend" who went to the OC register about the OD had no trouble trying to spin her original story by saying she was quoted out-of-context, after getting in trouble with her friend no doubt
How do you know? It's amazing how you know exactly everything that's going on behind the scenes with everything.
Uhhh... no actually she's chosen to be anonymous.. hence she isn't available for refuting... Non-famous people are still afforded the same rights of slander and libel.
Like I said she's not anonymous. She's just not surrounded all the time like a person like Bryant.
