I have noticed many conservative tendancies/views in my kids over the years. That is because you are their parent, and their most important influence in their lives.

FoxNews: Sr. Admin. official now reporting 90-95% certainty that the 2 bodies are Saddam's sons.

Slaute to you!
Anyone else remember the smell of the powder?
Am I right about it being somewhat addictive?
On an unrelated side note: One could always tell who was cut out for artillery and who wasn't the second the howitzer fired.
The natural born 13B types would close their eyes and inhale the smoke of the first round, those not cut out for it tried to run away from the howitzer!
I can't believe how many times I witnessed that contrast.

I don't understand the Democrats. They never see the big picture, and willingly hang themselves by the necks, over, and over again! Yes, my conservative bias may be showing, but they never cease to amaze me.
To: Redleg Duke
That SHOULD read as: SALUTE.
(Hey, I was in artillery, not typing school!)
*chuckle*

I was an 11C and round and bomb can be used interchangably. "Bomb" is commonly used everywhere but the USThanks, I honestly didn't know that.

You are sooooo right! Man, how I miss the smell of cordite as it drifts back from the gun line!

I was kind of hoping those two yahoos would be taken alive, or, at the very least, beaten to death with wooden spoons. But this is more than OK by me.

It must be down to just confirming that they are not 'body doubles'...

why is this thread dying out? Is nothing new happening? Keep us cubicle-bound updated!!
To: Pan_Yans Wife
It's all that sicko "tolerance and compassion" and when the Dims
get on a PC high, they can't think their way out of a paper bag.

Not a problem. I always said "round" because I didn't want to sound "European"! :-)
Besides, a "round" is the projo/fuze, prop charge and primer...if any of them were expended, I didn't want anything to do with them! :-D

Not to mention Daschle, Kerry, Graham, Dean, Helen Thomas, Molly Ivins, Maureen Dowd, etc.
To: Pan_Yans Wife
I'll bet you the Rats for Prez lines are burning. Kerry's handlers are probably saying what do we say now, Bush is making progress in the war and I'm sure Carville is beside himself.

Off topic: Smoke is billowing out of the top floor of the Eiffel Tower.
