Jim Miklaszweski is reporting this and he usually won't go with a story unless its pretty valid.

I have had premonitions all morning long that something BIG was going to happen today. The news just HAD to improve for GWB, and this thing is huge.

Fox says there are rumors but no confirmation. MSNBC and NBC are reporting rumors which they can then use (if false) to browbeat the military. I am waiting for CENTCOM's report.

Some time between now and the presidential election, it's very likely that the US will be able to confirm the death or capture of both Saddam and OBL.
This will totally dominate the news (particularly if it's a capture) and blow the Dems out of the water.

Did they ever kill or capture "Chemical Ali"? Reported for the longest time he was killed in Bashra, but they later backed off on it.

It would be hugh if it were series this time.

Mik's reporting is solid. And OOOooo Boy, do I want this to be true. I just haven't decided whether I want them dead or alive.
