They're only 4 months and 3 days behind in reporting this.

Jim Miklaszweski is reporting this and he usually won't go with a story unless its pretty valid.

Some time between now and the presidential election, it's very likely that the US will be able to confirm the death or capture of both Saddam and OBL.

This will totally dominate the news (particularly if it's a capture) and blow the Dems out of the water.

Did they ever kill or capture "Chemical Ali"? Reported for the longest time he was killed in Bashra, but they later backed off on it.

They're saying that "four high-ranking allies of Saddam Hussein" were killed. Hopefully, they weren't killed by the missile that they say hit the house. It might take a while to do the DNA testing.

This was on the MSNBC site in breaking news.

Saddam sons taken?

NBC News: ‘Likely’ captured or killed Saddam Hussein’s sons Uday and Qusay Hussein were “likely” captured or killed in a U.S. raid in northern Iraq Tuesday. More details to come...

Call me cynical, but I've assumed that a number of events from the last year or so that are being kept "under wraps" and released at opportune times. They include any one of the "rumors" that is swirling around at any given time (Saddam is dead, Osama is dead, Usay and Qasay are captured, Baghdad Bob is going to be the next spokesman for NAMBLA, etc.).
