Even better- if this report is true, look how stupid Dickie Gephardt looks- again! Yep, but "no eyebrows" Dicky is about the most irrelevant Rat around these days. Few even take notice of what he says anymore, either in or out of his party.

Olympia Snowe has been one of the best spokespersons for why we are in Iraq and are staying there that I have heard in a long time. Wow, is the River Styx frozen over?

A lib just said, "It took us 4 hours to kill 4 people?"
Incredulous. Way to see the dark cloud.

The military has been a family tradition in this family since 1628. I had much the same problem with my kids and school, especially when I told them the price of admission to a free society was a tour in the military, and they were not exempt.
We then had all the uncles, grandparents, and everyone else who served in all wars sit down with them and explain the tradition and why it is important. They told my kids how the line went through Colonial America to the Revolution to current day, and how they considered it an honor to be a part of it.
My kids fight back now....they know the truth about the military and the people in it, and they want to serve!
Hope that helps.

Some things must be taught in the home.....
Teaching pacifism is not necessarily a bad thing....it should be the first route of choice, HOWEVER, when the going get's tough, the back-up plan must fall into place....
Every warrior abhors war.....they do it because of the responsibility, duty and honor....
Get after your daughter or son to teach the responsibility of defending this country to you grandson......
I speak from experience, my daughter is now going through Basic at the US Air Force Academy as we speak......"Others before Self"

the soliders in the field still have the chance to get picked off 1-2 a day The American people are supposed to be frightened of this? It was a while ago, but 50,000 were picked off at the shoe factory at Gettysburg in 2-1/2 days. Maybe the liberal youth over at DU think people don't get hurt or die anymore, and maybe in their age group--13-18--the rate of injury and death is low so they think the whole world is like that.

I popped on to DU for a second(I need to be decontaminated now!) and found this message: "Sure the freepers will be giving each other the high 5 but the soliders in the field still have the chance to get picked off 1-2 a day. This isn't going to stop anything, the risks are still the same."Can you imagine their depression when they see Iraqis celebrating like mad if this gets confirmed?

Do you have any idea how many minutes of midnight basketball the money spent on ammo could have bought?

A lib just said, "It took us 4 hours to kill 4 people?" What an idjit! Don't they realize we were probably going after capturing them first, other than killing them. I just hope they found maps to Saddam's hideout in the rubble.
