Excuse me will you I can't finish this just now; I seem to have gotten something in my eye.
I hate it when that happens.

FYI - our troops need our help setting the record straight - debunking the whambulance chasers in the press. Please forward this letter to friends and neighbors, friendly newsmedia and special interest groups. We can't wait until an election. Our troops need us now.

I saw a bunch of 19 year-olds fromthe 82nd Airborne not return fire coming from a mosque until they got a group of elderly civilians out of harm's way. So did the Iraqis.
We do not deserve defenders like these.
Grace or something, I think it's called.

Thanks for posting this Ragtime. This letter is very similar to letters I've been receiving from one of my co-workers who has been over there since February. He says, don't believe the media, things are going fine and the people love that the US has rescued them. Of course there are "bad guys", he has been shot at repeatedly but he says it's part of the mission and what he signed up for and he's taking them out one by one. God Bless our soldiers!!

Uplifting. Thank you!

Most of the media are wartime traitors.. propagandists who are blatantly attacking the homefront's morale with a barrage of negative spin. They deserve to be shot by unnamed sources.

What an awesome post! Thank you both very much for sharing this with us.
I like this guy's style, colorful language and all, much better than anything I've seen on the teevee.
I would love to see him say "Gitmo" to the CNN and BBC reporters...heheh.

What a great view of the real Iraq! I wish, I wish, I wish the press would publish pieces like this instead of the stupid, whining drivel that they're so fond of.
More Americans need to see and hear things like this letter.

Inspiring and informative letter. I like his writing style. Got a kick out of his comments about the media, and a chuckle at this comment:
"...three warriors of Allah were promptly sent to enjoy their 72 slave girls in Paradise. Hell of a way to get laid."
Thanks for posting it, RC.

The only reason the GIs are pissed (not demoralized) is that they cannot touch, must less waste, those taunting bags of gas that scream in their faces and riot on cue when they spot a camera man from ABC, BBC, CBS, CNN or NBC.Simple solution.
Yell, "GUN" ! and start blasting. Then throw a few of those 227,000 confiscated AK-47's down.
