Freeper Travis McGee, has finished his much anticipated novel, Enemies Foreign and Domestic, and it has been sent off to print. His web site indicates it will be shipping in 3-4 weeks.

He has 20 chapters of the book available online as excerpts, so you can get a real good feel of the book right there on the web site before ever ordering it.
My own review of the book, which I have been privileged to read in its entirety, is as follows...
Enemies Foreign & Domestic is as compelling a fictional novel about liberty and the 2nd amendment as you will ever read. It is packed with real life issues right off today's headlines and the political camps on both sides of the issue. It is also just a good, old-fasioned barnstorming novel that you can't put down. In his first at bat, Matthew Bracken has hit one out of the park.
Let's all congratulate Freeper Travis McGee on a job very well done...and consider getting one of his books. We have another Freeper Author in our midst and I am sure his novel is going to be picked up and taken nationally by someone. It's simply too good a read for it to be any other way, and it sends all the right messages.

BUMP!
Congratulations to Travis McGee!
This book sounds like it is right down my alley.
Besides several established authors (Barbara Olsen and Congressman BillyBob, for example) there are plenty of other freeper authors, known and unknown.
BluesDuke is currently working on a baseball book, by the way.

Yep. After doing some proofing of it, I can say that it makes for a thought provoking novel. There is far more to the thoughts behind the action than meets the eye. FReepers, especially, will find this an interesting novel.

Thanks for the heads up, Jeff.
Hey guys, if you can work it into your schedules and budgets, there are two great conferences coming up where your books might just well be a hit.
In September in Houston, TX is the Second Amendment Foundation's Gun Right Policy Conference. It usually gets about 500 people. (www.saf.org)
Then in January in Arlington, VA is the annual Conservative Political Action Conference. Last year, there were over 4100 people in attendance. (www.cpac.org)
If you are unable to attend CPAC, perhaps one of the FReeper groups that has a table there can add your books to their tables. I'm not sure what can be done about the first event if you are not there.
If I can help let me know.

"The scene of the roadblock in the countryside gone bad is so cinematic, switching back perspective from "long shot" to "close up" to "medium shot" in such an expert way, that Hollywood producers will be salivating for movie rights. " Agreed! Can't wait for the movie.
Great read, Travis. Kudos and best of luck.
Agree with your review, Jeff. Thanks for the ping.
