To answer your other question about Iraq!

I don't trust Putin or the Russians. Count me in the Dick Cheney camp. Putin has consolidated what used to be the old KGB in his control.

Remember the Russian diplomats stayed forever in their embassy after being warned to get out. I have always thought that they were hiding Saddam and that he was hurt in the first bombing. Why would the embassy need to fly in a doctor? Then all of a sudden they hurried up and left and complained their motorcade was shot at. That whole deal didn't pass the smell test. Russian scientist I believe know exactly where the WMD's are at because they were working for the Iraqi's.

When Russia threw in completely with Chirac -- that did it for me! Now very little mention of Russia occurs -- don't think relations between Pres Bush and Putin are very good.

Also wonder if they are not helping stir up things in the Middle East!

When is the last time a party allowed NINE candidates to fight it out. Think about it. With NINE candidates, there is no way there would be a concensus leader. Hence, they beckon the queen to save the party.

That is exactly why no one can get complacent in this election! We have to get out and volunteer until the last poll closes on election night! We have too much at stake.

Cong Watts set a good example for that. In 2000, the candidate against him was an unknown but he campaigned like he was going to lose.

So did Senator Inhofe in this last election.

I would hope that any FR would be aware of the outcome.

Personally? I regard Bush in the same PERSONAL light of Guiliani. I was a victim of 9/11. I see both people as my heroes.

Politically...I'm against Bush in not rolling up his sleeves and cutting spending. But I know that is not reality.

I empathize with those that want spending cut. However, not staying with the party means alot now.

I can speak of large portions of flyover country -- we hate her! She doesn't draw a lot of money from this area of the Country and Arkansas will turn out Republican votes like you have never seen before. Same with Oklahoma and the rest of flyover country and the South!

Yes he can! Unfortunately. According to UN Charter, there is no rule which says he can't. Library of Congress told me it's just an agreement that none of the 5 members of the permanent council will sit as Sec.Genl.

I think you are right -- I have fought against the fact she was running for President in 2004 forever, but now I think something has moved up the date from 2008 to 2004.

If it is in the Iraq archives, then you can bet it just may have to do with OKC Bombing! I wish I had a picture to post of that mural on the wall with Hillary looking like the cat that swallowed the canary at the memorial service.

Why did the Feds tear down the Murrah building in a couple of weeks after the bombing. Justification was to start the healing process. That is Bravo Sierra IMHO!
