My 3 1/2 yr. old grandson is having surgery to close a hole in his heart. Monday, July 14, 2003 the surgery will be performed. His case is complicated by the fact that he also has a bleeding disorder. We know everything is in the hands of God now but feel the more prayers we have the better. Please pray for Ryan. It surely would be appreciated.

Heavenly Father,
You are the God who has already provided for our healing through the death of Jesus on the cross. Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows (afflictions, diseases, illnesses). By the stripes that He bore in His own body on the tree, we are healed. Father, we stand in the gap for little Ryan who is in need of this healing now. We pray as a body of believers, knowing that You are the God who heals. We present him to You, and we know that You will provide for everything he needs. Grant wisdom and skill to his doctors. Help them to anticipate every possible reaction and to be ready with a quick and effective response. Send wonderful ministering spirits to take care of him. Help him to not fear. Grant peace to his parents and grandparents as they place him in Your capable hands. We trust in You because we know You love him more than anyone. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
