Also live on CSPAN. The audio is much better I think.

Mrs. Reagan was just introduced to much applause. Vice President Cheney is about to speak. The Reagan is firing a deck gun in his honor (I believe Tony Snow said it'd be an 18 gun salute).

Thanks to God that this ship's commissioning is being attended by representatives of an administration who cherish the values the U.S. Navy has traditionally stood for.

Saw it on Fox, MSNBC but not on CNN or Headline News! Bah ha ha. I will go check again, but CNN is showing it's hatred for one of our greatest presidents.

Nice rendition of the National Anthem, colors were just retired. Invocation by the Reagan's commanding chaplain.

I can't believe that CNN is not covering this event. FOX and MSNBC is, of course.

Fox and MSNBC are covering this. CNN is not (no surprise).

Exactly! Go to C-SPAN if you don't want to be interruped.

Doesn't suprise me. Socialist SOB's over there without an ounce of patriotism.

I'm watching on CSpam. No commercials, no incessantly-talking heads. I think I saw a banner that CSpam will show a tour of the interior of the ship.

Capt. David Christian will be on Fox shortly to explain the traditional aspects of the ceremony. People that haven't been in the USN (such as myself) might find that worthwhile.

Beautiful, this is bringing tears to my eyes and a swell in my chest - thanks for the heads up!

G-d bless the ship and her crew!

It was nice, but for the commissioning of a warship, I'd have preferred the Navy Band. The anthem is a powerful tune which needs a powerful band, not female journalist mates (I'm not sure I've even ever met one of those). But, you are right, it was a nice rendition.
