A 18,16 and 14 year old surburban males arrested with a "cache " of guns 2,000 rounds of ammo multiple knives. Planned to car=jack a car and drive around on a killing spree. Showed the Cache on Fox---looked like a old bolt action rifle, 2 pump shot-guns and revolver and a 9mm semi-automatic. All looked old. No evil assault rifles. Alot of long knives and ammo!

I think they meant total number. It looked like they had it all mixed up together. Dumb female on Fox said Ohh that is high powered ammo talking about the shotgun shells. Mark V it was on the box of shells!!

BIG difference. Camden is Hell on Earth. MUCH different fron bad neighborhoods in NYC or elsewhere in NJ, bad as some of them are.

I have a "cache" of firearms, somewhat more than "multiple" knives, and waaaay more than 2000 rounds of ammo...and have never hurt or bothered anyone in my life. This is probably gang-related mayhem.

BTW, milsurp .308 is running about $0.11/round in 1000-round case lots, as the best price, so 2000 rounds would be about $220.

The rifle ammo did not look like FMJ to me. It had a fuuny shape to the bullet. Maybe they will show it again on Fox and someone else can take a closer look. All the guns looked used as did the leather staps. The revolver looked old and in a couboy style. The knives were long. Not kitchen knives. Oh well someone you sees it later can probably tell what kind of rifle it was. It had a wood stock that looked cheap and dinged up. Shot guns just looked like run of the mill pump guns to me. If my brother in law was here to see it he would probably know. He is much better than me on fast identification and since he has reloaded for 30 plus years he has a keen eye for ammo.

New Jersey with its severe and prohibitive gun laws is a killing zone. One doesn't ever hear of a perp or sickos attacking a gun club, gun show or a NRA convention. I can remember some Darwinian award winner that robbed a gun club in California and didn't make it out of the club alive.

Actually the oldest of the three just graduated from Collingswood NJ High School last month - Collingswood is a lower middle class but not desolated area as is Camden - according to local TV tonight this young man, who is white, became reclusive several years ago after his mother died - was going to save the world "from society" - as is usual in such incidents, his uncle insisted that he simple wasn't the type to be involved in such a plot - just a few facts to add to the discussion.......

Oh nevermind.. I just realized they don't have crime stats there for my town. They have them for Atlanta though which is only an hour away. Atlanta looked pretty bad too.
