F.Y.I. - Bay Area CA, The Savage Nation radio show moved to KNEW 910AM 4pm Pacific

For those who happen to be in California at this time, and in the “Bay Area”, you can tune into The Savage Nation (Michael Savage) radio show on KNEW 910AM 4pm Pacific. He moved from 650AM to 910AM radio dial. Tune in and have fun – and for some of you Bushies, don’t get too upset, he’s just trying to get you to think a little.

That's a tall order...

Thanks! I've missed him since getting bumped off KSFO. At the end of the day I want someone to keep me awake during the commute, and Savage is one guy on the radio dial that can spew it.

I sort of got tired of Savage after a few years. I enjoyed Hannity from 12:00 to 1:00pm.

Then they put Hannity on from 12:00 to 1:00pm, again from 4:00pm to 7:00pm, and yet again from 9:00pm to 10:00pm.

ENOUGH Hannity on KSFO, already. I hardly listen after 6am anymore.

I caught part of the show today. I can take Savage in small doses, but don't have the patience to listen to more than 1/2 an hour at a time of him carping and complaining.

I switched from KSFO to KNEW a few months ago during the 4-7 pm time period because I'd gotten really tired of Savage. I rather enjoyed Larry Elder. So, what do I find today? I turn on my car radio around 5:30 to 910, and what do I hear? Savage. So, back to KSFO, and more Hannity. There really is more than enough Hannity, but I can't listen to Savage anymore.

That pretty much sums up my experience with Savage. At first I liked him, but over time he just started grating on my ears. I remember Jim Eason, and I miss his show a little more every day. Yes, he got lax in his later years and stopped putting the effort in, but back in the 70's and 80's and well into the 90's the Jim Eason show was well worth listening to. The man was a gentleman, a real class act, I really miss him and I miss his style of broadcasting.

I also remember that Jim Eason didn't like Michael Savage, and Savage didn't like Jim either. Savage called Eason "Mr. Softy", and Eason publicly referred to Savage as a "psycho". No love lost there.

I didn't live in the Bay Area until around 1994, and found KSFO a bit later. I did enjoy Jim Eason, he was indeed a gentleman. I liked Savage at first because he was completely different from anything I'd heard, but after listening to him for a period of time, he really got on my nerves. I think there are quite a few people with the same experience. I've read similar posts on other threads.

My feeling exactly. The man is an egomaniac.

He told someone yesterday he would be back on in the Bay area real soon. I listen on 650, and I won't be able to get the new station.
Savage, he is like a woman in menopause sometimes. One never knows from one minute to the next if he will praise the President, or slam him, but he is greatly entertaining.

How about his characterization of the liberal radio host(s) on the "call letter deficient station"?

Wish I could get more Hannity. He was on 3 hrs per day live on our ESPN station. Then they took off the first hour so we could listen to even more sports talk. Drives me nuts!

No, 650 AM is the Sacramento station and he's still on that. He moved from 560 AM in San Francisco, KSFO, to 910 AM, KNEW.

The Sacramento station still carries his show. Both come in just fine in the East Bay...

Agree about Savage. He is someone I can only take for a little while too. I don't think I have ever heard an entire show, I would go ballastic!

Monica Crowley has an excellent radio show on WABC 770-NYC daily at 6:00 and Saturdays 10-1. She is a conservative, does her homework, and has excellent guests. I'm tired of hearing Sean arguing with liberals, and Rush repeats himself endlessly. I listen to Savage sometimes, but a little bit of him goes a long way.

yep. I saw him at one of his Paul Revere Society meetings, we were invited by friends. Yikes! He was onstage, drinking vodak, glass after glass, and just rambling about whatever popped into his head. People started to get up and leave, and he was mocking them! I heard him not to long ago brag about his performance at the meeting, and how he was so clear in his head, and his pronouncements were so electrifying! Uh huh. What an over-bearing ego.

Savage had me grinding my teeth - I had to stop listening for the sake of my dental health.

I have never been to one of those "Paul Revere Society" meetings, but your description of it is priceless. Almost makes me regret not going at least once. Almost.
