Hillary Freep in Corte Madera, CA - After Action Report

Marin County CA, home of Ratboy Johnny Jihad and other forms of leftist lunacy, was the site of yet another FReep of Shrillery Rotten Clinton on her book tour. Of course, being in such a liberal area, her visit promted the swarm of Klinton Kool-Aid Drinkers and other assorted sheeple to come out for an autographed copy of her book.

Freeper Honor Roll: stratman1969 and wife, byteback, Mediaqueen, SFChick and old mare. In addition, we had four other people with us there (if any of you are FReepers and I missed your screen name, my apologies.)

We stood across the street from Book Passage with our signs. I held a blown up copy of the "Lying History" cover and other signs there included "Hillary Knew," "Welcome From The Vast Right Wing Conspiracy," and another mock copy of the book cover "Living With My Lies," which had the Hildebeast with a Pinochio nose.

The Kool-Aid drinkers were lined up outside the bookstore and around the corner. There was no talk, no questions answered (Surprise!!!!) and no photos with her. She was actually signing books. Many who drove by gave us thumbs up and a few yelled things like "Get a Life", etc. One car of three large women drove by and gave us the finger. Later, a couple came across the street and the guy wanted to lecture us about "people's private lives."

A three car caravan brought her to the event, passing right by our signs. In addition, some photographers from the Marin IJ and the San Francisco Chronicle came by to take photos. Channel 5 also came by to film us and do some interviews.

Will be watching the 11 o'clock news tonight to see if our group made it on and check the papers tomorrow. Will post articles and photos if some appear.

Thank you for showing up. My friend and I wondered if we'd be alone, even though I knew a few Freepers said they'd be there. I'm sure our presence surprised Hillary's fans. Your being there made us even more formidable!

If people came from Sacramento today because they know she won't sign books in Sacramento or the Central Valley, then we know for her fly-over country is anywhere 25 miles from an ocean. There are too many red counties, too few blue for her to be safe.

By the way, one man showed us his book and she did sign it herself with a blue felt tip pen.

A young man wearing a Nader 2000 t-shirt said he stood in line so she could sign his t-shirt. He was told she would not, so he came across the street to see if any one of us could sign Hillary's name and he could show the crowd. Amazingly, one of our group is a graphic artist who said she could copy the signature on the book cover which, of course, we had in the Lying History version. She autographed his shirt beautifully and he returned to the crowd to show them "Hillary's" handiwork. It was a fun day.

Old mare: Thanks for adding in what I missed to the report and for being there!!!! I was desperately trying to remember what the other signs said but couldn't at the time I was writing the post. Apparently, the hat I was wearing didn't prevent the hot sun from melting part of my brain, which caused a temporary amnesia last night!!! It was great to see you again, reminiscent of our times countering the "peace and justice" crowd after 9-11. Likewise, it was great to meet those we'd never met before! Mrs. stratman and I had a great time as well!

Kucinich opened his California Headquarters in Corte Madera about 2 weeks ago. His office is at 21 Tamal Vista Blvd

I used to work in that building around five years ago, before the company moved to a differnt location. Kucinich is definately the perfect choice for the Marin stuck-in-the-60's leftists. I saw some show with Chris Matthews a few weeks ago where he had a panel talking about the Democratic candidates. All that panelist Phil (Mr. Sharon Stone) Bronstein could bring up about the candidates was that Kucinich attracted 2,000 in Marin. When I heard that, I thought, "who cares about 2,000 wealthy socialists in Marin County think."

One more note about our FReep, which I just remembered, is that the former mayor of Corte Madera (don't know his name) came by and thanked us all for being there. I was suprised that anyone leaning to the right could be elected to any office in Marin County.

I'm skeptical about that figure. In 30 years of living here, I've yet to see the public figure that could get 2,000 Marinites motivated to do anything. Probably a lot of outsiders, just like Hillary's crowd.

Speaking of Kucinich, I just found out today that he is a vegatarian, that's right, a VEGAN! No wonder he looks so sickly. I'm sure the cattle ranchers will just love this guy. Maybe someone can FReep him with buckets of Kentucky Fried Chicken!! LOL!!
