Our little 13 month old daughter, one of a set of twins, has been diagnosed with something called Angelman Syndrome, a genetic disorder that leads to varying degrees of mental retardation accompanied by lack of speech and poor motor coordination.

I know there are many Godly believers on this site; I am a born-again Christian. Please help me lift my little girl into the Lord's presence and healing hands.

To All, My heart and spirit is buoyed today by so much response and prayer; I will share this with my wife.

Our little Victoria is truly an angel. One of the characteristics of the disease is "inexplicable happiness". While her sister hollers, Victoria just laughs and smiles.

Her sister Natalie, by the way, is advanced way beyond. She was walking at 9 months, and is absolutely brilliant. It's almost as if she "borrowed" a few genes from her sister.

Father God, I ask you to bless this sweet family and especially little Victoria Mae. If it be Your will, heal her to bring honor and praise to You. If it not be Your will, give this family strength, courage and utter peace through You, in order to bring You honor and praise. Give the doctors wisdom and discernment in treating Victoria Mae. I will add Victoria to my prayer list. A little boy in my church was diagnosed with Hurler's disease, a genetic condition with a very bleak prognosis. I have watched the Lord bring much healing to him over the past year and a half.

Nothing short of a miracle for him, will pray asking the Great Physician will do the same for Victoria.

I'll just share a stream of consciousness response for whatever it might be worth. . .

--First was the thought--Oh, Lord, God! Why such an extremely excruciating honor of such intense suffering for my brother. PLEASE, LORD, GIVE HIM HOPE, CONFIDENCE IN YOU, PEACE THAT PASSES UNDERSTANDING . . . . HIS WHOLE FAMILY . . . THE SAME, LORD . . .

--LORD, PLEASE MAKE OF ALL THIS A MANIFESTATION OF YOUR GLORY AND LOVE FOR EACH OF THEM. MAY YOUR COMFORTING SPIRIT OVERSHADOW AND SATURATE EACH WITH YOURSELF, YOUR BLOOD, YOUR WHOLENESS.

--Oh, Lord, sustain every moment of every day. Draw each of them super intimately into yourself through every day of this challenging road.

--Lord, you have declared increasingly in recent years, months that you are going to do dramatic things--including healings--beyond by far whatever was done in ages past. Let this little one be a shining and soon example, Lord.

--Please, Lord, put every cell, fiber, neuron, organ system, sub-atomic particle--her whole being not just right but super anointed right; super healthy; super powerful; super sensitive and intune with you, your still small voice, your spirit, walkig in your Spirit a powerhouse of your outflow to a hurting world. May her knowledge and genius astound all who meet her at the earliest possible age.

--May she and her ?sister? humble kings and princes by their wisdom and knowledge sovereignly given them by Your Spirit. May their discernment be uncommonly quick, precise and accurate. May they calm large groups by their presence and silence forceful attacks by a glance.

--May demons flee their presence and their anointing level mountains literally and figurtively.

--May awe and reverence for their God and their relationship with God be matched only by the respect for their Love of You, Lord, and their Love of others.

--May they always walk in humility, brokenness, wisdom and Love.

--May they wield your awesome power with a grace, matter-of-factness, fierce Love and awesome humor that awes all who touch their lives.

--And give their parents and siblings the grace and courage to keep up as best they can with your enablement and wisdom and Love for them.

--Show yourself to be awesomely real and involved in this family in overtly tangible ways beginning this day. Give them at least 7 different confirmations in the next 21 days that you are emphatically about something very special in these lives and that you will do great exploits with this family through these children. Wash awa whatever may not be of your Spirit in these prayers but please emphatically confirm, build on, reinforce that which is of You, Almight God, Loving Father, Reigning Lord, our all in all.

Years ago I was friends with man named Peter who told me when I met his beautiful young daughter Leslie ... she would never live past childhood due to some congenital disease. I only met her once - briefly but she is always in my hopes and prayers.

I read the story of a man who was given his newborn child and was told she wouldn't make it through the day. When the baby died he said ... crying the whole time --- I never experienced such love !

Let go (( sorrow )) ... let God (( happiness )) !

I too, have seen the power of Jesus, firsthand, in so many ways, over the years.

Filling teeth, bone, etc., no problem. I personally witnessed a girl healed from congenital heart failure. Her heart was made perfect.
