Because this hits on a number of subjects on FreeRepublic of late, I think y'all will enjoy this. In fact, the inspiration for this was finding the common theme this week on FR and turning it into a column.

"When I'm President, we'll do executive orders to overcome any wrong thing the Supreme Court does tomorrow or any other day." Well alrighty, that means Sodomy will be reinstated as against the law in Texas! Yippee! :-)
Great writing congressman sir, and "Tell me lies" is one of my favorites too. I used to sing it about every guy I dated! :-)

I think it would be a mistake to reckon that Hillary did not know what hubby was doing. In order for Hillary to run the ship of state effectively, she would have to know that her husband was 'preoccupied' enough to not interfere with her very important work. Hillary is just real sad that he was stupid enough to get caught.

....you know Billybob, in all my years of experience, I never met a woman who didn't know that her husband was cheating. Yes, there we some who hid behind the lies, but once the word of it got out to the crowd, the wife usually admitted she knew. We women have something God put inside us that just lets us know!

Is Dowd sufficiently stupid to believe what she writes? Certainly, Hillary isn't that stupid, but I wonder about idealogues such as Dowd. Do they live in their fantasy world so long that it assumes reality? Are they just twitty to start. One can be crazy without being stupid.
As a writer, Dowd will no doubt use hyperbole. It's expected. But Dowd is so consistently off-the-mark and apparently incapble of any rational argument that I wonder if she isn't just nuts.
