"There's one man in a devil costume. He's been following me for three years," Sen. Hillary Clinton complained to Newsday on Thursday. "Maybe he'll show up in Huntington."
FreeRepublic.com's resident devil, "Dr. Raoul," didn't disappoint, showing up to protest Sen. Clinton's Book Revue book singing in Huntington, New York right on schedule Friday night. Raoul's costume dujour, however, was, "Rodham Hussein" - desert fatigues topped by a Hillary mask and burgundy beret.
He was joined by a hearty contingent of fellow Freepers and a handful of independent protesters who gathered to show Hillary that not everyone was in her corner.
While the line of Hillary fans waiting to meet the former first lady stretched around the block, the protesters across the street were a far livelier bunch, even if they couldn't match Mrs. Clinton's numbers.
And while the throngs of supporters were willing to wait hours for five seconds of face time with the top Democrat, dissenters received some impressive tactical air support.
Minutes before the former first lady arrived on the scene, top WOR radio host Bob Grant checked in with NewsMax for a live update on the anti-Hillary demonstrators, who erupted in chants of protest loud enough to be heard by Grant's listeners thoughout the metropolitan area.
On Long Island, WLIE Radio's Mike Seigel hit the airwaves with his own live report from the scene, and later made the trek to Book Revue when his drivetime shift was over to check out the action firsthand.
Even nationally syndicated talker and Fox News Channel rising star Sean Hannity, who lives in the area and just happened to be driving by, pulled over the give the protesters some encouraging words.
Still, Hillary's supporters remained unfazed. When one protester loudly suggested that they could get a far more truthful account of the Clinton era from other, more critical books, a female passerby shouted, "We love Hillary - we don't care about the truth."
Another Hillary fan told NewsMax she thought Hillary Clinton was an historical figure, not unlike Martha Washington.
What's more, the same woman insisted, if Mrs. Clinton becomes president, she should pick up where her husband left off.
"She should have an affair with her Secretary of State!" the Hillary supporter declared.

A witch costume would be more appropriate.
To: kattracks
This means her secretary of state will be a lesbian too.

Yes, but if one freeper showed up at every event she attends, and they were dressed as the guy in the devil suit that's been following her all this time, I bet we could make her crack heh heh heh
To: Chad Fairbanks
Agree, Chad ... Shillery truly is upset by the appearance of the devil ... it's the only thing I can remember her saying that does ... so in this respect, the words from my West Virginia granny apply ... if a little bit is good, a whole lot is better ... I hope we can clone Dr. Raoul many times over ...

Yes, you'd have to not care about the truth, to love Hillary.

None of Miss Hitlery's people told her not to do this stupid book? She looks a bigger fool than she already was.
