U.S. Senator Hillary Clinton (D NY) has attacked U.S. President George W. Bush, and questioned U.S. intelligence effectiveness in an interview published in the online version of the German newsmagazine Der Spiegel.
Der Spiegel is Germany's leading newsmagazine, and is highly regarded throughout Europe. Clinton's remarks will gain a high degree of publicity across the European continent, attracting support within Europe's generally liberal political environment, where socialism enjoys wide acceptance.
While asserting her support for Bush in Afghanistan and Iraq, Sen. Clinton criticized present U.S. policy in Europe, and questioned the Bush administration's use of intelligence information.
Clinton stated that she was "not ready to answer 'yes'" to Der Spiegel's question whether misleading information was used to launch the war in Iraq.
"I know my husband received the same intelligence information [during his presidency as did Bush]." Clinton asserted that "the real question is have we obtained accurate information, or have the findings been altered for military or political purposes?"
Clinton also urged greater interdependence between Europe and the U.S., stating that America should seek "a secure and solid foundation" for relations with Europe, instead of "relying only upon our [U.S.] military strength."
Praising her husband's close relationship with European leaders during his period in office, Clinton declared that "for eight years we were on the right course to a globalized and integrated world - which is coming, one way or the other."
Clinton publicly revealed the foreign policy thrust of the Democratic Party in a remarkable moment of candor, a position Democratic leaders have not made clear to the public, but which is keenly understood and supported by Clinton.
Not only is a "globalized and integrated world" inevitable, it is a foreign policy priority of the Democratic Party.
According to Clinton, a single, unified world "is a perspective we Democrats have not successfully made clear."
In the Der Spiegel interview, Clinton asserted that her husband sought to pass "effective laws" and proposed "more money" to carry out the struggle against terror, but "the Republicans prevented" measures from becoming enacted.
Hillary Clinton, already considered an intriguing figure in Europe, will gain additional credibility as a stateswoman as a result of the Der Spiegel interview.
As Europeans become more familiar with Clinton and her views, their impact will be felt as they bring money and influence to her or a like politician's campaign.
The socialist European expectation will be that a Democratic victory will bring into power a U.S. government more to the liking of one-world European politicians.

Heh heh heh... Willie, can you tone down that truth a bit. Thank you. ;0

We can NOT EVER, let this corrupt witch become president!!!
This country has suffered enough from the numerous disgraces and scandals brought upon the highest office in our land, and most powerful in the world, by the debacle of the Clinton regime. Having her in the oval office would be tantamount to having Weasel Willie back in the saddle! Personally, I think SHE was running the country, behind the scenes, when Weasel Willie was prez. I had a bumper sticker, when he first took office, that said: "I don't trust our president, or her husband"

"a globalized and integrated world"
Very interesting, Hillary, please give us the details. It's been my belief all along that the European Left hates Bush because he wants to preserve American sovereignty, and this story only reinforces that belief.

This interview should be sent to every Republican member of Congress. Hillary is giving the Republicans a lot of rope with which to hang the Democrats. The general public might want more government handouts, but the average person does NOT want to give up American sovereignty to faceless and unaccountable international interests. And what is this bit about international money flowing into Democratic campaign coffers? That won't fly with the public, either.

"The American People will never knowingly adopt Socialism, but under the name of Liberalism they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist Program until one day America will be a Socialist Nation without ever knowing how it happened----"

She doesn't want to be president, she wants to be "Queen of Planet Earth". I'm serious.

Always keep in mind that either one of them, Hitlery or Willie Weasel, are going to spout WHATEVER is expedient for the circumstances they are currently in and relative to the audience in front of them. They are the most opportunistic, self-agrandizing, manipulative and power-abusive people EVER in contemporary American politics.
Whatever they do or say, regardless of how innocuous it may appear on the surface, is to singularly achieve one goal and one goal only: benefit themselves in the form of power and money. They are a pair of political prostitutes, and this is what makes them so dangerous to the political future and security of this country.

LOL... I love that bumper sticker.
I agree with you that Hitlery was probably making most if not all of the decisions.
Bill is too interested in self-gratification to have time for serious work.

Talk about "Masters of the Universe"!!!!

Her moniker is incorrectly stated. It should be:
USSR Senator Hitlery Rotten Klintoon (Socialist-NY). There; that's more accurate and better stated.
To: Bill Davis FR
Redistribution of well, everything if HRC had her way. I am not budging. This is my home, my city, my state, my United States of America. Hitlery's not taking my house or my way of life, my freedom or my country away from me. She can urge all she wants. The only time HRC is relevant is on Halloween night.
I hope we can give the country a big wake up call before HRC begins her socialist/marxist experiment.

The coward won't debate in the US media has to go to a socialist venue to spew. Not buying that interpretation. Der Spiegel is possibly the best there is. Interesting to have to get Hilla the Hun's foreign policy thoughts from the foreign press. It's almost like the American press isn't capable of visualizing anything outside America: look how they put an American face and flavor on events in foreign countries. Her foreign policy ideas seem clearer now after this, but they sure raise the backhairs.

The problem with people who make statements like this is by "globalized and integrated" they too often actually mean "completely devoid of and divorced from any semblance of self reliance or contingency plan for that rainy day.."

"for eight years we were on the right course to a globalized and integrated world - which is coming, one way or the other." If a "globalized and integrated world", whatever the hell that means, is "coming, one way or the other", then just why the hell am I supposed to lap up your silly, meaningless platitudes about it, Ms. Clinton? Oh, right, I know: because I'm a European ;-)
Not only is a "globalized and integrated world" inevitable, it is a foreign policy priority of the Democratic Party.
Bizarre. I still don't know what it means. The world is already a globe, can't "globalize" it much more than that. And "integrated"? What does that mean, world busing of American schoolkids to study in Sudan?
According to Clinton, a single, unified world "is a perspective we Democrats have not successfully made clear."
Ohhh... "single, unified world". In other words, a world monostate. Yes, she's right, Democrats haven't made it clear that's what they want (although I don't doubt it); after all they describe all this with vague, meaningless buzzwords like "globalized, integrated world".
To: bedolido
Can't somebody do something with The Queen of Hell (Hillary)? Tape her mouth? Exorcise her from the U.S.? Something?
To: bedolido
And how is it our future leader can vouch for the type of intelligence her "husband" might have been provided? Did this civilian have a security clearance, what level, and on what basis was it awarded?? hmmm??
