2. The books will be signed before the event. (We have been assured that they are hand-signed, not autopenned).
3. The procedure for getting a book and meeting Senator Clinton will be as follows:a) Come into the store and pay for as many copies of the book as you would like (at this time there is no limit). This will be her only Southern California booksigning.
b) You will be given a voucher indicating the number of books for which you have paid.
c) Join the line outside the building
d) When your turn comes you will get to say hello and shake hands with the Senator (at this time we have no details about whether or not photography will be allowed)
e) Then you will hand your voucher to a store employee who will hand you the proper number of books.

I talked with the staff at Vroman's, and it appears that they intend to:
- open the REAR doors at 8:30 amAll of the above is on their PRIVATE property, however, so we will NOT be able to FReep them there, but the line will almost certainly extend towards the FRONT of the store, through the walkway between the side of their building and the Laemelle Playhouse 7 next door - where they will not be able to escape SEEING us, and HEARING us. :o).
- give each Hillary! sheep a receipt for however many books they buy
- send them outside to wait in line until 11 am.
I will talk with the Pasadena police department tomorrow to confirm this, but it appears that we will be able to assemble on the PUBLIC sidewalk directly in front of the store, on Colorado Boulevard - VERY CLOSE to the sheep line.Target even has a small food court where we can meet for the post-FReep fellowship and after-action review.I will be arrivng before all but the most ambitious of the sheep, but suggest that the BULK of our forces plan to be there at 10 am, and stay until the Hildabeast leaves - at around 1 pm.Rather than park in the Vroman's parking lot (behind their store) - where the sheep will be, I recommennd that we park in the HUGE parking structure about one block east of Vroman's - behind the Target store, which is located at the northeast corner Oak Knoll and Colorado.
I plan to dress as "The Ghost of Jacob Marley" (from the "Christmas Carol" by Dickens) - with a black felt top hat and white stage make-up on my face, wearing many chains, and carrying a sign that says:More details to follow in a NEW thread, after our planning meeting this Thursday (6/19) - at 1 pm in Redondo Beach.

COLORADO FReepers, Lets welcome Hillery!
"Haunting Hillary!" - Denver - SATURDAY, July 26,
SATURDAY JULY 26TH
4:00P.M.
Tattered Cover Bookstore, Downtown Denver.
Our store in historic Lower Downtown provides another reader's paradise at the end of the 16th Street Mall, near Union Station and Coors Field. The LoDo Store offers three stories of books with the added comfort of curling up by the fire in comfortable antique furnishings, bathed in lamplight. Like Cherry Creek, it's the scene of many readings, autographings, and literary events throughout the year, and boasts a cozy coffee shop and extensive newsstand.
Location: 1628 16th Street at Wynkoop in Denver, in the restored Morey Mercantile Building, directly across Wynkoop Street from the Lower Downtown Postal Annex next to Union Station just blocks from Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies baseball team. Hourly parking lots are conveniently located near the store and streetside parking is also available.
Colorado FReepers, FReepmail me to be added to my ping list for the event.
We are going to plan a double FReep for the Little Rock signing on July 25'th and the Blythville signing on the 26th. Since Blytheville is a border town, we would like to involve Tennessee, Missouri, and even northern Mississippi as well as Arkansas, especially if you don't have one in your state. FReepmail me or post here if you want to be a part of our national FReep Hillary campaign! I will make a ping list for the purpose of keeping you informed if need be. Budge plans to take the FReepmobile (a motor home, for those of you that don't know) for transportation and on site FReeper basecamp.
Hehehe....this is going to be fun.
