After-action Report DC Chapter FReep of Hillary in DC

Fresh from their victory over the liberals at Hillary's Wal-Mart book signing in Fairfax, VA last night (one Clinton Kool-Aid drinker said that our presence in Fairfax destroyed their celebratory mood), the DC Chapter of Free Republic assembled troops at the Hillary Clinton book signing at Capitol Hill today. 

The daring raid into liberal-occupied Capitol Hill had strategic surprise.  As liberals were caught flat-footed again and they were able to mount only feeble resistance, the FReep was yet another triumph.  Details will follow, but this is posted now to get the thread started.  Your humble correspondent also has video and audio that should be added to this thread in the next day or so.

Later in the day, a member of our armed forces stopped by and borrowed our megaphone.

They were vets that had served in Somolia and had their own desire to communicate with her given the opportunity. The one was about early thirties, the other late forties.

I'm sure Bubba started monitoring it real time once it started to go bad. I'd love to know if he was there watching from the beginning of the raid and what his reasons for doing so were.

Nice job DC Freepers. The HRC Legacy Rebuilding project is thwarted by your vigilant efforts. Although the Kool-Aid drinkers hate you (and us) the niddle of America needs to be constantly reminded.

Another "Citizens, not spectators" Award for the DC Chapter of FR's posh DC headquarters display case. Must be pretty full by now.

You guys and gals ROCK. And while this is no doubt also fun, let no Freeper forget that it is an investment of time and energy. Keep up the great work.

I was also interviewed by Scripps Howard News. Hanging around with the DC Chapter is a lesson in media relations.

The thing that got me was the majority response from the people in the bookstore line. Though there were a few mean-spirited, arrogant, condescending liberals who showed us some 'love', the majority in line looked at us in amusement and went about their business. Makes me think they were responding to Hillary as a celebrity and had no real admiration for her. One girl I spoke to who had just left the store said that Hillary looked 'old'.

I think your assessment of the crowd is a good one. Most were hot and bored standing in a slow-moving line to see a celebrity. Not many bothered to shout us down, curse at us, make nasty gestures or harass us in general for just being there.

The drive-by insults were interesting. Remember the guy who momentarily stopped so he could issue a string of curses at us. We responded by loudly proclaiming, "Can't you just feel the LOVE!" He continued on with a scowl on his face and then made a circle around us to curse at our backs.

I had a lot of fun yesterday and it was wonderful to be standing next to you again. Take care until we freep again.

He asked the sheeple if they were buying the book to learn about Hillary's ideas for tax reform to raise their hand. Not seeing any response he stated, oh you're here for the sex.
