Wanted to be an astronaut but was disappointed they weren't taking girls. Babs talking about how effective she was during her commencement address. She was one of only 27 women studying law at Yale. Bill looked like a viking who had a lot to say and what he wanted to do with his life. She was attacted to him from the get go. Darn, waiting all day for a delivery and wouldn't you know they're here!

Only for the outside shots. Look at this shot in the diner - shot through gauze or vasoline.
Talking about how she couldn't stop looking at Bill in college. An immediate attraction, life changing experience. His hands first attracted her - beautiful hands, ver long fingers. Watched those hands age along with them through the decades. Was besotted with him.

Yeah - she dropped the Marine pretense. Bill kept asking him to marry her and she demurred for 2 years. She learned how to wear make-up and got her hair looking better. (don't ask - those are direct quotes with no meaning whatsoever)
