Waffles

2 eggs
2 cups flour
1/2 cup oil or butter
1 3/4 cups of milk
1 Tablespoon sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt

Heat the waffle iron.
Beat the eggs with a handbeater in a medium bowl until light and fluffy.
Beat in remaining ingredients, just until smooth (try not to over beat).
Pour batter from a cup or pitcher onto the center of the greased iron.
Bake about 5 minutes or until the steaming stops.

YES, PANCAKES WEDNESDAY!!!!! I HOPE THE TROOPS EAT UP AND ENJOY. I AM SURE MANY OF OUR FINE SERVICE PEOPLE LURK AND EAT SO GOD BLESS. One thing they must know is that during my two weeks visiting the canteen I have learned:
1. Kathy in Alaska makes great eggs and Bacon
2. Tomkow6 is a master of creating chaos
3. Radix loves to "borrow" taglines
4. Pigrigger speaks half truths and many rally to his aid
5. LindaSOG is the Goddess of the canteen
I still have so much to learn but duty calls. Despite same I will leave this wonderful post for all the ladies on this Wednesday-Pancake-Hump-Day....
