[history]
Gay and lesbian groups said yesterday that the Catholic Church, under siege for the clergy abuse scandal, lacks the moral authority to mobilize parishioners against same-sex marriage. They are urging parishioners to walk out of services if priests voice the church's opposition to same-sex unions and to boycott church collections.

You're the first non-sinner I've ever met. Never said it, never implied it, thats just your personal projection you made up out of whole cloth
which makes the rest of your dreary whining irrelevant. The difference between us sinners is that that I acknowledge my sins, ask forgiveness and try to change where as you remain unrepentant and proud youre your iniquities much like homosexuals do, can you see the difference? Comments from you on the church and its failings are the pinnacle hypocrisy and deserving of the disquietude and chagrin you receive.

Gay politics stirs the honey bucket in order to have a platform.
Ya know my son who is severly disabled is now an adult and is not welcomed everywhere. It bothered me at first then I said fine I will go spend my money where we are welcomed. Pretty simple.
I think the homosexual community should quit being so defensive towards the sectors they attack and love one another, enjoy life and live.

That is just it. "Raised Catholic" is a huge difference than "practicing Catholic"

we preach on it as well as abortion, contraception and other evils often....homosexuality, nor the other sins you mentioned were ever in the homilies at my CC only divorce. My priest was even going to vote for GORE!

It's sad that so many priests and bishops refuse to preach on the real difficult moral issues. They want to be "sensitive" rather than truly pastoral and shepherding. It's a shame.
