ABC News-Tape Found Around Peterson Baby's Neck, Also On Laci's Body [ Garagos still Leaking]

Knotted plastic tape was wrapped around the neck of Laci Petersons baby when the tiny body was found on a San Francisco beach, sources close to the investigation tell ABC News.

There was also tape on the mothers body, which was discovered nearly a day after the baby remains washed up, the source said.

The tape was also found outside Laci Petersons clothing on her lower torso, they said.

Scott Peterson of Modesto, California reported her missing on December 24th.

She was eight months pregnant at the time.

one detail I have missed, was the baby born before Laci's body went into the water, or come out due to deterioration?

The belief is that Connor was delivered as a "coffin birth" after Laci died, much later, because his body was in much better condition than hers, showing he had not been exposed to the elements as long as she had.

Geraldo on FoxNews a couple hours ago said it was more like a twine than tape that was around the baby's neck. Also, Shep reported that that "cut" was from abdomen to neck on the baby's torso.

Rumor has it that OJ was in the Modesto area on or around December 24th of last year.

Sounds far-fetched, I know, but he has experience at double slayings...especially those involving white women and young boys/men.

I've heard mention of "Sources" claiming the wound to be post-mortem to Connor.

I heard that mentioned as well: shoulder to stomach. Which, if you picture a baby in the womb, stands to reason as to how such a cut can occur. Babies are curled up and over and a wound covering that area could occur quickly and all at once. Unpleasant thoughts to have when reading these stories. Praying to God Laci's & Connor's family can find peace in this. And praying the Gag order comes down swiftly, before 6/6.

I think that the autopsy report refers to it as a "tear" rather than a stab wound.
