WOW! I bet the court is happy it doesn't have to feel the heat if the Abortion had gone through.

Side note: I called the Miami Herald and told them their AP article didn't contain all the facts about WHY the Judge's ordered scheduled abortion was cancelled by the Doctors - which wasn't mentioned at all. That the baby was developing normally, and there was no immediate danger to the disabled woman.
The web rep I spoke with said they would pull the article, speak with their fact checkers, get the complete story and repost later. She said she didn't know any of that, and knew the story posted. We'll see what happens.

The following is a graphic illustration of how much the verbiage of the death promoters has dominated the debates ... even the pro-life spokesperson makes the error of accepting the specious notion that Baby Doe's life will begin with birth
: ''We're very excited and very pleased with the result,'' said Mathew Staver, president and general counsel of the Liberty Counsel. ``We're very pleased that Baby Doe will have a chance at life now.'' That sounds sadly too much like 'Baby Doe will now get born and thus have a chance at life, as if Baby Doe is not alive yet but will become so upon birth.
Freepers already consider me a fanatic, so I'm sorry to have to be so blunt, but that kind of slip (as illustrated above) adds weight to the specious notion foisted by the abortion proponents, the notion that an embry or fetus is not fully alive until birth, yet science is very clear that such is not the case, the individual aliveness is not lessened by location, nor is it strengthened by location. The strawman arguments have weedled their way into our reasoning, even.

An anti-abortion group claims it has convinced a retarded, deaf, seizure-prone and pregnant rape victim to have surgery to deliver her baby, even though her doctors received authorization from a judge last week to abort the fetus.
The Miami Herald manages to link
anti-abortion with
baby, and
judge with
fetus in the article's opening sentence.

She has more wisdom than those who are more "intelligent." God bless her.

I really don't think the judge should put too much weight on this private group claims. This woman is highly suggestibile. They have a clear agenda and I think the person who knows the situation best, all the facts best and how best to handle this whole situation are the judge, her doctors and the mother of the retarded woman, not some unknown group who just met her 5 minutes ago. I think the abortion will happen anyways despite this groups claims because frankly it's not their choice to make even though we know they very much would like to force their religious beliefs on everyone if they could. This kinda reminds me one of the last scenes in Rainman. Get her in front of the judge again she'll probably say something different.
Doctor: Ray, do you want to stay and live with Charlie?
Raymond Babbitt: Yeah.
Doctor: Or do you want to go back to Walbrook?
Raymond Babbitt: Yeah.
Doctor: Which is it? Go back to Walbrook or stay with Charlie Babbitt?
Raymond Babbitt: Go back to Walbrook, stay with Charlie Babbitt.

You know what I am beginning to think it is best when the media refers to us as anti-abortion because that is certainly how we feel. Thank God for this news!!!!!!
