It would likely surprise you to learn that pregnant women with four-year-olds around the house have meaningful interactions witht heir four-year-old regarding the 'baby in Mommy's tummy'. This woman understood enought to use the word 'baby' and 'my'. Try another approach, Whitey, your harping on the wrong notion.

An anti-abortion group claims it has convinced a retarded, deaf, seizure-prone and pregnant rape victim to have surgery to deliver her baby, even though her doctors received authorization from a judge last week to abort the fetus.
The Miami Herald manages to link anti-abortion with baby, and judge with fetus in the article's opening sentence.

Eggs Ackely! She has enough cognitive sense to express 'baby' so why kill an alive in utero baby when she will be having major surgery anyway? Why kill that which even this retarded woman has the sense to know is alive, real?

She has more wisdom than those who are more "intelligent." God bless her.

My just-turned 5-year-old told me that she is going to have 10 babies and that her sister is going to have 20 babies. "Then we'll have 30 babies!"

I couldn't get a straight answer out of her, though, why her sister was going to have ten more babies than her ;-)

For the pro-lifers, women are just baby-receptacles. Rape victims give up their rights one moment past conception. And babies aren't guaranteed the right to be born healthy. Life for the sake of life...

Exactly - a child that young likes babies. If all children learned about abortion when they were about six like my children did - the facts, about fetal development, and that a baby dies, not just that a pregnancy ends - there would be very who grew up pro-abortion.

Mrs VS

ps Please keep praying for the babies in both these Florida cases. They're not out of danger until they are born. And pray for the mothers who were sexually abused and not protected.

For pro-murderers, a baby is nothing more than an "inconvenience" or a "tumor" or a "mass of tissue", someting to be thrown out with the spoiled food or flushed down the toilet and out of their lives.

And under your system such have the right to die. Sheesh. Do you people think before you speak?

Because 20 is more than 10. Duh!

Nobody is guaranteed the right to be born healthy. Or to stay healthy for that matter. I've seen in a different article that the baby is fine and developing normally, and that the woman is in no danger. At this point, the baby could be delivered alive, and live, with no more physical and emotional trauma to the woman than if it were delivered dead. Or does a pregnant rape victim have the right to a dead baby?

For the pro-lifers, women are just baby-receptacles.

Your argument assumes that "pro-lifers" somehow look upon women as being less than men. However, you are discounting the fact that the babies at risk for abortion, and for whom these folks are fighting, are female, too.

So true ... the horrific images are just too graphic proof of the bankrupt state of the abortion champions' hearts. This plusone poster has already dehumanized all unborn so that even though half are girl babies, they too are not yet human to plusone. Convenient don'tcha know!

Rape victims give up their rights one moment past conception.

Another problem with your argument is that you erroneously assume that giving birth to the baby would be hard, but getting an abortion at 24 weeks would be easy (physically speaking). In fact, an abortion at 24 weeks is just as physically demanding on the woman as labor is, simply because she WILL be giving birth, albeit to a dead baby. Induced labor is very hard on a woman's body, and she will have to go through that whether the baby is alive or dead.
