International ANSWER Peace Rally Participants Turn Violent

I was just speaking with Kristinn. He and tgsltakoma went to Freedom Plaza to observe the left wing anti-war rally, especially to see if Al Sharpon and some other invited Democrats would speak.
Well first thing that happened was a not so veiled threat from Brian Becker of the Workers World Party against tgsltakoma. From the stage he pointed her out, called her a government agent and a "cock roach". Then he said, You know what you can do about a coack roach, you can ignore it or do something else."
Even the National Lawyer's Guild volunteers in the green hats got violent. They blocked her view of the stage and shoved her. Police were called and a compromise made, they'd stay (ANSWER does have a permit and ANSWER will stop the violence).
Well ANSWER jhas not stopped the violence, a man just threatened to beat up tgsltakoma (a lady for all you lurkers). Police are being summoned now.

I sure hope the FBI is paying attention to this outfit. ANSWER has been involved in protests from Vancouver to the war. They seem to be able to turn any group that is against anything into a protest against America and capitlism. The thing that intriques me is how well they seem to be organized.
It is like the old days when the commies could read the Daily Worker or New York Times ("America's Pravda," said Georgie Jessel) and get their marching orders for the week.
The way that ANSWER takes all the other protest group and applies the commie concept of affirmative action is what is troubling. Eventually, ANSWER will realize that while American vegitarians will protest eating meat, that doesn't mean that the same vegitarians will smash the windows of every Bank America in the city.

ANSWER is probably in a bad mood because they only have about 200 people there.ANSWER is in a bad mood because thousands of American military personnel didn't come home in body bags.

What is the difference between a Muslim and an Islamist? An Islamicist is a mobster; a Muslim is an innocent victim.

We should form an American CANSWER Society...someone's got to fight CANSWER before another American life is ruined.

I think this rally had something to do with protesting against treatment Muslims (here and abroad) are receiving at the hands of the US Government.Plenty to protest there all right. (sarc) The last 3 if not more, military conflicts the US has participated in have been to defend Muslims.....

I agree. A second violent American Civil War is inevitable. From watching the way things have gone over the years to reading of overwhelming historical precedent in other nations, it is inevitable. It's just a matter of when it starts and where. The outcome will probably be some form of extremism, no matter who wins or loses. A return to Patriotism and actual freedom wouldn't bother me a bit.

Re-read # 25. I don't think it means what you think it means. I may be wrong of course. I read it as saying that the left is becoming increasing violent and so vocal as to rule out the greater majority in this nation who desire common sense and a Constitutionally based government. Under curent trends, as I see them, a violent response to those threats against freedom in this country is inevitable.
Rome lasted several hundred years, but it's original republican form of government was gone relatively early in it's history. A study of the history and the rise and fall of nations and empires reveals much the same thing that we see happening around us today. I hope that we don't see the divisions in a 'Red or White'
sort of way, but I fear that it is inevitable.

Peace rallies also end up with violence. I can remember
going to "peace" rallies years ago, in the bay area (San
Francisco, that is).
They always ended up with fighting.

Good to hear.

A second violent American Civil War is inevitable. No, it's not. We are winning by votes. That's the beauty of the system.
