That would be Mark Geragos.
More than likely.

"he did it" WHO? GERALDO?
To: Howlin
"Did you look at the ABC site?" No I haven't had a chance to look there, I had to leave and go to the eye doctor's with my husband.

"Put it this way, if YOU were the Scott Peterson and were innocent and looking at the mountain of evidence the police were compiling, wouldn't you consider going on the lam?"How could he possibly even know what the mountain of evidence was, unless he did it.
Even with all the news stories none of us even know what the mountain of evidence is. They are keeping pretty mum.
If I were innocent I sure wouldn't run.

Yes they do leave out certain facts. On TV all day long, Geraldo has been saying only one lung was missing.

Can you explain to me why anyone cares about this subject? Don't you see it as a gross violation of her family's privacy?

Don't you see it as a gross violation of her family's privacy?I see it as a gross miscarriage of justice -- and Mark Geragos and Scott Peterson are the ones sticking the knife in the Rocha family every single day, not us.

<<No I haven't had a chance to look there <<
I couldn't find the Diane Sawyer interview transcripts on the ABC site. Couldn't find any transcripts there. I think they want you to buy the transcripts from Burrelle's.

Could the props on an oil tanker do this kind of damage? Possibly. Tanker draft in that channel could be no more than a few feet. But one might expect to see obviouos damage from the prop blades. IMO, it is more likely that the body was tied to a weight at the feet, hands, and possibly the neck, and wave action caused the torso to become detached from the limbs. The unborn infant was expelled from the womb and the unbilical cord snapped. The missing chest cavity organs are a mystery to me.

I don't disagree about Scott (and I expect nothing less from lawyers), but I can't help but think that the Rochas would not like to see the details of their daughter's dead body discussed on an internet forum.
To: independentmind
I can't imagine they would either. But if we just sit back and let the defense team SPEW out their lies, without trying to remind people that they are, in fact, lies, we're not doing a very good job of thwarting a "high tech" distortion of the facts, not to mention helping Scott Peterson save his sorry A$$.

I see it as a gross miscarriage of justice -- and Mark Geragos and Scott Peterson are the ones sticking the knife in the Rocha family every single day, not us. I agree. I see nothing wrong with discussing this story - it keeps Laci and Connor from being forgotten, which no murder victims should be. They deserve justice. As does their family. Those who feel this doesn't merit discussion are free to move right along to another thread. Why come here and join in by asking why we continue to discuss it?

Eventually popping the dead fetus out the birth can like a "cork from a champagne bottle."
Anybody care for a glass of bubblie?"
Man, that description is a little too graphic for me!

The right leg is severed at the knee; the left foot is missing; the heart, lungs and other internal organs are gone and there is a hole in the upper abdomen above the belly button that may be a knife wound, said the source, who asked not to be identified.I think many are jumping to conclusions. Nowhere does it say that the organs were "removed"--it just says they were "gone", i.e. missing.
The knife wound in the stomach could have been the cause of death and the organs floated out through the hole, dissolved or were eaten by little sea critters.
This release sounds like Geragos and he is obviously getting the result he wanted by it.

If it was the Dream Team would be wearing orange jumpers, too. That's as much as I know about defense attorneys' practices in ethics.
