New Poll: Kerry Would Lose To Bush Last Poll Showed Senator With Commanding Lead
POSTED: 6:48 a.m. EDT May 21, 2003
BOSTON -- The presidential campaign of Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry received some startling news Wednesday from his own back yard.
A poll recently conducted by the research institute Mass Insight shows Kerry trailing President Bush in the race for president in the Bay State.
The poll, which involved 500 Massachusetts voters at the end of April, shows the president with a 6 percentage point lead -- the exact numbers have not been released.
This stands in stark contrast to a similar poll taken by the group in January. Back then, Kerry had a commanding 16 point lead in Massachusetts in a theoretical matchup with the president.

He lost the Irish vote, perhaps? The Irish and and Jews looked at eachother and shruged "Who can we count on him pandering to?" and walked away from the pollster.

Kerry might be the best pick for the GOP after Dizzy Dean. Kerry tried to be on both sides of the Iraq War and wants to be a Vietnam War hero even though he pretended to throw his medals away and opposed that war. His speaking style is so boring and convoluted it's hard to tell what he's saying. Bottom line is another Massachsetts liberal is going to be a no-sale in most of the country.

Blowed-dried buffoon...Kerry has the role of the sleazy politician down pat.
He reminds me of that Senator in the movie "The Last Boy Scout."
To: DarthVader
Usually in Massachusetts when a Senator gets in serious trouble he starts wearing a neck brace.
To: DarthVader
I think I heard somewhere that he was in Vietnam. Can't be sure, but he may have mentioned it recently in a speech. About a hundred times.

I refuse to believe that he pays hundreds of dollars for that monstrosity of a hair style. I bet he gets it cut at Wal-Mart and pockets the change for the expensive cut.

It's because Kerry "looks French"....:)

Yes, Kerry was in Vietnam...what he DOESN'T tell you, however, was that Kerry, during the Vietnam demonstrations of the 70s, took his medals and threw them over the White House fence in protest. It frosts my cookies when I hear Kerry talk about being a Vietnam vet when he did everything possible to stomp on his image of being there. I saw it on the black and white at the time...I remember how odd it was that a soldier would throw his medals away after he fought for the meaning of them...Kerry was pandering to the protestors at that time....NOT fighting for the soldiers.

It is a wig made of dead horse hair. He is totally bald.

I would love to see this arrogant moron lose in his home state. No doubt. Originally I thought this God Forsaken State of Mass would be the one place to keep Bush from winning every state in the Union.
A tidy clean sweep would be sweet.
To: DarthVader
He must be taking campaigning lessons from Al Gore.
