San Antonio is a Democrat stronghold. I think it would be funny to freep this poll.

Voted.

Regardless of political affiliation, I think it is very noble for any politician to walk out of the legislature and cease working. In fact, I would propose to double the salary of any politician who would do so on a permanent basis.
Look at the current Congress. Yes it's all Republican, but spending is out of control. Let's get a few more Democrats back in there and bring back the days of gridlock. It's healthier for your paycheck!

Have you been watching the U.S. House? Democrat after Democrat have been taking to the floor today praising them as "heros".

Sheila Jackson Lee now up--saying that DeLay is in engaging in "oppression" and praising the "sheros and heros" of the Texas Legislature.
