I'm sitting here watching a report that the Texas democrats have fled the state because they cannot deal with being in the minority.....Are these fellows realizing how big an asshole they look like.....children on the playground have more class.....

Governor Perry should arrest them when they return or extend the deadline of the congress....What kind of human being acts like this.....If it was me, I'd shoot them all when the re crossed the state line......

Bob Graham showed us all that he's not afraid to prove he has no idea what the President does....his accusations that attacking Iraq caused the bombing in Saudia Arabia guarentees us he'll never be president, and probably loose re election as well

Ardmore,OK is soon hosting a meeting of a group that calls themselves Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered Pagans. (This bullet came up on a Google search of Ardmore, OK.) I've been wondering if these traitors of Texas have more than one ulterior motive. I would have posted sooner, but unlike these thieves, I had to work for their and my salary. Sell their properties on the auction block, reemburse the State. Let the runner ups or next in line take their offices. I think Texas will be better off if they just properly resign and leave the state.

While closing all of Texas's borders is impossible, there are other things they could do.....

Post signs at all border crossing points, "All illegal immigrants and AWOL Democrat's will be arrested."

Billboards showing the faces of: 1) Texas's Most Wanted idiotic (ex ?) politicians; 2) Have you seen this / these person(s)?; 3) Over 50 recent job openings in the state legislature - only responsible individuals need apply.

I saw in another thread that someone had suggested that a bunch of North Texas Freepers go to Ardmore with picket signs. Wouldn't that be a hoot to see on the evening news nationwide.

Maybe, maybe not.

There is a provision where members of the Legislature(House and Senate) must recuse themselves if they have a conflict of interest pertaining to a vote. It could be rightly argued that the 53 that gave notice must recuse themselves in a removal vote for any of the other 52.

That would put the remaining voters at 97 total, 88 of which are Republicans. This would also require a special election within 30 days of the removal. IIRC.

If the Feds have to step in and retrieve them from OK, it gets dagerously close to a felony offense, which is grounds for removal from any State office.

They better get their cowardly selves back before it reaches that level, but I would bet that they won't.

I think they had 96 or 97 in attendance today so there maybe enough found by tomorrow to have a quorum. Then it's "hammer time" for those remaining in the OK Hotel.

In just under 4 weeks we are expected to have all of IRAQ secure, stabalized, happy, healthy, with a chicken in every pot. I can't for the life of me even understand WHY anyone would give a FORUM to someone that complains how badly we have failed in our post war effort.
