Considering the expense to the American taxpayer and use of American men and women as 'extras' for this media stunt, President George W. Bush should pledge that his USS Lincoln landing not appear in any 2004 Presidential Campaign Commercials and Videos.

I disagree with all democrats on most issues.
Many democrats I even dislike.
But, I really detest Terry.

the thing to do is create a commercial for the 2004 election but not air it, just let it leak out and see how many times the idiots on the networks air the commercial for free claiming that the republicans are unfair...

It was mahvelous, dahling.

Terry, grow up!!! By the way, when Clinton took the White House hill with troops behind him, Rush wasn't the only one showing it on TV.

So far, I haven't seen anything about the politicians that were brought out to the USS Lincoln for photo ops as it came into port at Everett, Wa. Lets see something said about that.

Why should they not use the footage wherever the hell they want to?
Agreed! HA!!!!!!!, the pleasure I am getting from watching the dems eat their hearts out over this is practically unrivaled in my entire life! Envy, envy, envy! Memories of Dukakis in the Tank, knowledge certain that any of their guys today INCLUDING the haughty, French-looking Senator from Mass, even though he served in Vietnam, (thanks James Taranto!)would look nearly as poor now. They can't stand this, I love it, I love it, I love it! The military loves Bush, women LOVE!!!!!!!!!! Bush (President Hottie!), men want to have an O'Douls with Bush! Thank God I lived to see the day!

That photo looks like somebody just mentioned Saddam Hussain.
. . . Bush's expression puts me in mind of when Kruchev rudely banged his shoe on the UN podium--and Ike sat in the audience with a wide grin . . .
To: Grampa Dave
"Detest" would be an understatement.

Thanks for the ping, Ernest. I've enjoyed this thread immensely. Main thing I take from it is that FReepers -- not just Registered -- are wickedly talented people with graphic images. Those -- even more than our e-mail FReeping -- will contribute to our success in the 2004 election at all levels.
My latest column, "Brave New Moment," deals with the Abe Lincoln situation -- the man, the carrier, and the speech (both of them). Click below, or visit the thread on FR.
