White House to Sen. Byrd- 'Do It Again, Please' (USS Lincoln Complaining) [Excerpt from The Note]

One Democrat moaned yesterday as he watched the cable news programs replay hours of footage of President Bush on the carrier with audio about Democratic complaints.
'Im watching him get high fived and buzz the tower again,' the Democrat said. 'The White House should have thought of this controversy themselves!'
Democratic questions about Bush's jet landing made the front page of USA Today complete with the 'Fly Boy' photo that will have Mike Deaver smiling.
Along these lines, a Senior Administration Official told the ABC Political Unit 'The more time the President talks about defense and security issues, the more he hurts Democrats and reinforces the public's positive perceptions of the Presdient.'
'Do it again, do it again is our message to Senator Robert Byrd of West Virginia.'
The Democrats are doing things to make their base happy, but alienating the center of the electorate.

Klingons can only be congressits. They can't run for president. So Mad Max, Klingon Rep from LA Hell, can't run.

I hope KKK Byrd was watching Fox and Friends the other day when E.D. was calling GW a hottie after seeing him in his flight suit. Can you imagine the Dems after hearing that?

A scenario greatly to be desired, if true.

yeah!! Go G.W. Bush for 2004
I can ALMOST pity those poor dimoRatz for the trap they've dug for themselves for criticising Mr Bush,
almost... :-)

I would pay to see Mad Maxine on the ticket as VP for Reverend Al's independent 2004 campaign after he is 'electorally disenfranchised' by the Dims

As I commented on a related thread, one thing about doing a tailhook landing on an aircraft carrier at sea is that it takes a set of brass balls. Most people would have come out of that S-3 trembling, with their pants full, and unable to speak. They would have needed help both to get out and to walk.
That gutless wonder who used to be president would have had to have been taken out on a strecher and hospitalized.
The gutless wonder who wanted to be president would probably have done alright -- he never would have realized what was happening until it was all over.
It is certainly nice to have a decent person in the White House again. It's been awhile.

I would donate to that campaign!

Some times I think that Byrd and Mad Max, the Klingon Congressit from the LA area are really conservative moles working for GW and the republican party. You can add Barbara Boxer to that list.
To: Howlin
Buzz the tower? They just lie about everything, don't they? As the plane was coming in, I was hoping it would buzz the tower, and then do a couple loop-de-loops. That would have put an end to those "barf bag in the cockpit" stories.
