Not only that, CBS on a few occasions did the dasterdly
thing of delaying the show 30 or 35 minutes, (deliberately
IMHO) to get higher ratings for the "Clinton Soapbox Show"
by snagging those of us who like the more popular
"Big Fat Greek Life" that follows it.
To us Tivo owners, that screwed up any other CBS recordings that night.
My reaction, I deleted the "Clinton Soapbox Show" as quickly
as possible, and I cancelled FOREVER, the instructions on my
machine to record every episode of "Big Fat Greek Life"

When the rat media gets nervous about putting a lying sack of shiite like that skunk bubba , we are winning gang, we are WINNING!
In related news, TBS signed Bill Clinton to do a series of events where he will armwrestle blind orphaned 3rd-grade girls.

Too bad. What better match than two irrelevant pols on an irrelevant program on an irrelevant network?

Hewitt told the paper
Daylight Saving Time always hurts "60 Minutes" because it's light out at 7 p.m., meaning more viewers are still outdoors. Thus, a ratings boost "couldn't happen if the Statue of Liberty danced The Big Apple," Hewitt said. So,Don Hewitt, the Extreme Lefts Elderly 'Godhead', is still blaming others/and the weather of all things, for no boost in ratings? Refusing to admit he made a grave error in judgement? This isn't surprising.

Let me tell you what I think contributed to this decision.
The ONLY time I saw it, Dole kicked Clinton's a$$!
It's the only venue I've ever seen Dole EFFECTIVELY go on the attack and win.
I don't thing CBS likes that outcome, irrespective of ratings.

The only show I'd like to see Clinton on is Monica's new show. Now that would be entertaining.

Well damn. Thus may end one of the most ambitious scientific experiments of all time. Although it is popular orthodoxy that time-travel is impossible, 60 MINUTES has stood theoretical physics on its head by leaping back to November 1996 each and every Sunday.
This is why we can't enslave ourselves to market forces in all cases. When we cave to terrible Nielson ratings, important research work like this suffers.

Dont kid yourself Clinton was not dumped. the mainstream media adore him and would keep him on forever. I would bet you a dollar he wanted out because HE KNEW HE WAS A FAILURE AT DRAWING AN AUDIENCE!!!! that is what so good about it. He saw first hand people could give a f##k what he says or does anymore.

Hey CBS! If you want to have a commentary segment that WILL be noticed then pit Puff Dashole against Rush Limbaugh. Of course, you would never dare do that.

"Television viewers are apparently not having 'visual relations' with Bill Clinton..." I did not have visual relations with that woman...
