CLINTON DUMPED BY '60 MINUTES?'

Report Says CBS Likely to Drop New Segment With Ex-President

Television viewers are apparently not having 'visual relations' with Bill Clinton's weekly debate against Bob Dole on '60 Minutes,' leading industry experts to project CBS will oust the former President from the airwaves.

According to USA Today media colunist Peter Johnson, Clinton and Dole 'have generated virtually no buzz since they premiered in March and have done nothing to boost the sagging newsmagazine's ratings.'

Hence, as executives plan to announce CBS's fall schedule next week, analyists are betting that Clinton-Dole won't be back in September.

Don Hewitt, the show's executive producer, says although no decision has been made about the segment's future, the feature apparently got drowned out by strong viewer interest in the war against Iraq.

I'd only watch carville, if he had a waste basket over his head!

Hehehe...Some of us archive things like that.

Thanks. That was one of the high points of my life! I was channel surfing and talking to my son on the phone when I saw it! Started yelling for him to switch from FOX to CNN to see carville. (james looks almost human in this picture;^)

HERE'S TO MORE IN '04!

Base Words Are Uttered

Base words are uttered only by the base
And can for such at once be understood,
But noble platitudes:--ah, there's a case
Where the most careful scrutiny is needed
To tell a voice that's genuinely good
From one that's base but merely has succeeded.

Liked your idea. Have Coulter host the show.

Hey CBS! If you want to have a commentary segment that WILL be noticed then pit Puff Dashole against Rush Limbaugh. Of course, you would never dare do that.

Defenceless under the night
Our world in stupor lies;
Yet, dotted everywhere,
Ironic points of light
Flash out wherever the Just
Exchange their messages:
May I, composed like them
Of Eros and of dust,
Beleaguered by the same
Negation and despair,
Show an affirming flame.

"The ONLY time I saw it, Dole kicked Clinton's a$$!" This time?

SENATOR DOLE: President Clinton, excuse me, but the truth is you left Colin Powell and George Bush with a mess to clean up. Really, how many nuclear weapons are you willing to trust North Korea with? You know, the only thing the Bush administration has changed is your legacy of patty-cake diplomacy. North Korea understands it and so does President
Bush.

Oh, indeed. I am quite sure that President Clinton insisted that the venture be terminated when he realised that Senator Dole still has teeth.

And one must give Senator Dole due credit -- his remarks to the former President regarding his dreadful foreign policy were concise and cogent.

Did anyone see Dan Aykroyd portray Dole on SNL?

The final remarks of the Dole v. Clinton segment were from Dole and I can't believe they were uttered by a character written by an SNL-writer, straight from a FReeper it seemed. I'll have to take a moment to remember them.

Somewhere on this Site those words exist. I actually saw that and scribbled a few of them down myself when I heard Ackroyd would be on. I'll look around my place in the next few days and come up w/ them.

After almost 5 minutes of meaningless, boring, crap from Darrell Hammond as Clinton, Akroyd as Dole said, "Bill, you ignorant slut."

Something about after saying "Have you written page one of that book?"

"No, you can't even say that. Because you are like you've always been....(cant remember)...whose Oxford socialism would return us to the days of Stalin and Mao."

It's a bad recollection but it was stunning, visceral and man it sent a statement.

kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

Frankly....I don't think at this point in time..that even she knows. I believe her to be one of the ultimate opportunists....And a dangerous one at that. So time will tell........

As to the question, "Is she electable?" Just when I think the American Sheeple have become smarter..they prove me wrong. So....I think under the right ( er....wrong ) circumstances...I think she could be elected.

If that happens....I'm moving to the Marshall Islands.

FRegards,

Those "circumstances" are being witnessed right now in Kalifornia. This state re-elected Gray Dufus Governor and now they’re organizing a recall???? Ahhhhhhh!

But here's the thing . . . and it plays directly on the "right circumstances". When the leftist biased media consciously decides to pass on the failures and corruption’s of one candidate and give major coverage to trivial or outdated matters on another candidate, this has a major impact on the sheeple.

My hope is that with the advent of FOX News, talk radio, the internet and more conservative print, someone like Hitlary will have a more difficult time in the future. We'll see . . .

BTW, if you run into Clem and Betty in Sepulpa, OK . . . tell them Teddy, Jr. say's Hey! ;^)
