Actresses Hewitt, Derek Visit Injured Troops
Hewitt Calls Visit 'Amazing Experience'
POSTED: 10:35 a.m. EDT May 1, 2003
Jennifer Love Hewitt and Bo Derek are supporting the U.S. military by visiting injured troops in the hospital.
The actresses visited they visited troops who are recovering from their Iraq war injuries at Washington, D.C.'s Bethesda Naval Medical Center and Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
It was not a first-time visit for Derek. She often visits injured servicemen and women in military hospitals.
It was a first for Hewitt, however, who said meeting the troops "was an amazing experience."
Derek, 46, has appeared in such films as "10," "Tommy Boy" and most recently, "Malibu's Most Wanted."
Hewitt, 24, has starred in the hit television series "Party of Five," and has had roles in such films as "I Know What You Did Last Summer," "Heartbreakers" and "The Tuxedo."

In ten years she'll look good. Go rent "Heartbreakers" (with Sigourney Weaver and Ray Liotta), and I dare you to tell me she doesn't look good *now*...

you know, we trashed SnowBunny for posing nude, yet knowing that Bo Derek posed nude does nothing to stop praising her for being a republican. I missed the SnowBunny thing. The only problem I ever had with Bo showing her bod was wondering what she'd look like with some clothes on.

I wholeheartedly agree, you will enjoy it Senator.

Bo Derek was made an honorary Green Beret for her support of SF. I don't know how long she has been supporting the military, but she also visited recovering SF soldiers who were wounded in Afghanistan.

Your pics aren't showing because the site they're hosted on has run out of bandwidth.

How about getting back to what they did, guys! Sheesh!! (LOL!)
If what they did was not done for publicity reasons, then it is a wonderful thing. Think of how many of those troops must have felt with these great gals giving them a bit of attention.
I wasn't aware that Derek had done this before. Very commendable!

Can't tell what she's channeling. It's a collage I flung together in great haste 3-4 years ago when I made the great discovery. Maybe the slapdash editing is part of the problem.

My understanding is their publicists have done nothing to push the fact they did this. Which is why we should recognize them for it.
If we blast the "hens" then we should support those who support our troops.

Sigh....For fourteen years, we had a young lady in our office who was the spitting image of Bo Derek. I don't know how John Derek did it, but all three of his wives (Ursula Andress, Linda Evans, and Bo Derek) look so similar (in face *and* body) that they could practically be triplets, were it not for the differing ages. Or at least sisters.

Bo Derek if you remember was outside the Texas Gov Mansion during the waiting on Bush/Gore winner.
Also Bo has for years helped Disabled Veterans of America she devotes time and energy to go help wheelchair vets ski or sort of ski. Bo is big with the troops.
She is also a REPUBLICAN. :o)
Let's see Bo or Hillary.
Bo or Boxer.
Bo or Sarandon.
Bo all the way.
