Actresses Hewitt, Derek Visit Injured Troops
Hewitt Calls Visit 'Amazing Experience'
POSTED: 10:35 a.m. EDT May 1, 2003
Jennifer Love Hewitt and Bo Derek are supporting the U.S. military by visiting injured troops in the hospital.
The actresses visited they visited troops who are recovering from their Iraq war injuries at Washington, D.C.'s Bethesda Naval Medical Center and Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
It was not a first-time visit for Derek. She often visits injured servicemen and women in military hospitals.
It was a first for Hewitt, however, who said meeting the troops "was an amazing experience."
Derek, 46, has appeared in such films as "10," "Tommy Boy" and most recently, "Malibu's Most Wanted."
Hewitt, 24, has starred in the hit television series "Party of Five," and has had roles in such films as "I Know What You Did Last Summer," "Heartbreakers" and "The Tuxedo."

I will not have a relationship with someone whose body is so firm and Since you don't want them, would you mind sending them my way?

I will not have a relationship with someone whose body is so firm and toned that I fear being crushed.
I can't think of a better way to go, though.

Jennifer Love Hewitt has such a beautiful saintly quality about her. I hope that she doesn't run afoul of Hollywood's system of patronage and incestuous nepotism over politics. Ever seen Colin Powell smile so effusively?:

Derek is a strong Republican supporter, saw her with Bush here in Dearborn MI just prior to the 2000 elections. Still great looking, not much in brains but has settled down with a nice man and isn't trying to resurrect past glories. She has her own life post-hollywood and seems to be content. God bless her!

Here's Bo:
Sigh....For fourteen years, we had a young lady in our office who was the spitting image of Bo Derek. She retained her sweet innocence for the whole time - Lord only knows how!
Off topic - original article pegs Bo at 46....I've just turned 56, and was always under the impression that she was MUCH less than 10 years younger than I be; a little PR at work maybe?

She was 20-21 when she filmed "10."
That's 25 years ago--the age tallies properly.

During the Korean War, Bo's husband, John Derek was in the California National Guard (40th Inf. Div.). When the division was federalized, sent to Hawaii, Japan and then to Korea, John stayed home. I've never figured that one out.

I met Bo Derek several years ago on an airplane. Such a beautiful woman! Skin like porcelein. Only about 5'2". And as nice and unassuming as you could ever ask for. Sweet lady. Glad to see her making this choice.

Ahhh...you're undoubtedly right; maybe it was wishful thinking on my part.

I know Bo Derek but who is the other woman? You must have graduated a while back, Johnie. ;o)

you know, we trashed SnowBunny for posing nude, yet knowing that Bo Derek posed nude does nothing to stop praising her for being a republican.
