Pip, you're not supposed to lick all the gooey icing off the cake!
The slobbers make the candle hard to light!
Goin' after more than al-claydas with your new shootin' irons, I'd say,and brandin' quite a few cows for the feast afterward..:))
Nah ! Actually I had JUST enough ! :O)
"Do not fret because of evildoers,
Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity.
For they shall soon be cut down like the grass,
And wither as the green herb.
Trust in the Lord, and do good;
Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.
Delight yourself also in the Lord,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him.
And He shall bring it to pass.
He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light,
And your justice as the noonday."
May you all enjoy a joyous and blessed Sunday!
Jesting aside, thank you for those so reassuring verses.
Quite a Sunday Feast - -
As you could tell by my musical post I had done a little research on the song 'Break Forth O Beauteous Heavenly Light' and was going to reply (before I hit the wrong button and sent my address bar and everything else into cyberspace!) that the words from that song were derived from Isaiah 58 - 8 thru 14
I agree, they would have to X out the history of the world.
I heard that George W quoted Isaiah at the end of his speech on the ship the other day. Did you happen to hear which Chapter it was from?
See ya'll later !
Yeah, gunner found some 45.70 rounds for us to shoot in my new Sharp's buffalo gun.
He says they should take care of those militant buffalo we might encounter.
This is going to be a real old fashioned Texas shoot-out with some awesome weapons to fire and some thick ribeyes to munch on afterward.
Rika is going to furnish some shrimp goodies to tide us over.
Shootin' starts at noon, y'all!
C'mon down!!
Oh thanks. I looked at Chapter 7 and don't think it could have been that one but I did find a verse that was new to me that I liked....
Isa 7:15 Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.
