The Democrat Party platform has one plank: We hate Bush!

Nevermind - the NBC Life feed from Sandiego station is now showing the carrier. My question is - they showed a prop plane taking off (no knowledge of military lingo here). What was that for, any of our military analysts, please? Keep up the commentary for those with no access to other views - OK???? (Thanks, Howlin, and yes, this is great joy!)

Yeah, all residents of Coronado know that "WHoooOOMp" sound very well, as the S-3s power up to stay on the glide path coming in to land!

The Democrat Party platform has one plank: We hate Bush!Would that mean if they use that platform they are walking the plank?

A Navy Commander on board the Lincoln said, a few minutes ago on CNN, that as soon as the President lands he will be hooked up to the catapult for another go-around. That's going to be something to see. WOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
THis is soooooo cool ... Dang this is a great day

Clinton isn't jealous. Clinton got PLENTY of "stick time" while he was in office. ;-)

Thanks, but Tom Clancy would have every right to accuse me of plagiarism. I've read all of his books. Unfortunately, haven't enjoyed all of the movies that were made from those books. Didn't even bother to see "Sum of All Fears".

I feel like a kid waiting for him to land on the shipI've munched through 1/2 bag of tortilla chips....switching to red licorice for the landing. LOL!

Here I am! I MADE my sister bring me back from shopping so I could see this. She of course thinks I am certifiable. I DON'T CARE!
This is about the neatest thing I have watched in a long, long time!

"When is he due to head out to the Lincoln?"
Does anyone know how he will departing the Lincoln? Is he going to ride into dock tomorrow on the ship, or is he leaving the same way he came? Anybody? Anybody? Buehler? Buehler? Anybody?

According to the CBS special last year (it aired just before the re-broadcast of the documentary hosted by De Niro), the President actually forced AF1 to return to DC counter to the SS's wishes. I believed he said something to the effect of "I'm not going to let some tin-horn terrorist keep me out of Washington."

I can't take this anymore, I can't find a reliable feed here in the office. I'm gonna take my lunch and run home and watch it, and get it on tape for my hubby.
