Clinton Information Center Opens

Little Rock - The Clinton Library is expected to open the Fall of 2004.  To help get the public excited about the opening, Little Rock  officials have opened the new Clinton Information Center.

Channel Seven's Mary Nguyen joins us live from the river market with more.  The Clinton Foundation opened the new kiosk today in the center of the Rivermarket.

The kiosk is a place where visitors, tour groups, and business developers can obtain information about the Clinton library .

Shoppers and tourists stopped by the kiosk this morning to watch a video describing the library project.

Patrons also purchased Arkansas and Clinton memorabilia at the information booth.

Organizers believe the kiosk is  a natural fit with the Rivermarket and will give locals and visitors a chance to boost tourism and explain  what the library will mean to the area.

(Sharon Priest)  "Clearly what one of the things people want.  They want to know about the library and are interested about it they want info about the library and they want to buy clinton souvenirs i think it's great for the river market future and tourism."

The Clinton information center at the Rivermarket will be open Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm.

I see the word Kiosk used in this article.

Wouldn't the word Gulag be more appropriate for anything related to Komrade Klinton's Library?

I have been to both the Nixon and Reagan Libraries, and left with the feeling that I had viewed a significant piece of history.

Somehow just the thought of visiting the Klinton Library makes me nauseous. After leaving Bubba's Library they should have showers for those visitors who feel the need to wash the filth off their bodies.

One of these days I'm going to get together with my other buxom brunette friends. We're all going to don black berets and blue dresses and just GO there and walk around together. No signs. None needed! Maybe we'll offer people cigars and copies of the Starr report, though, and give away some neckties.

There's more than one way to FReep. ;-)

Its too bad this didn't exist back in the day. Ken Starr could have got all the info he needed in on stop.

Or all the stone walling he needed.

My advice to you is to use the buddy system -- don't go anywhere alone!

Some of his DNA in a little vile.

Shredded documents from a fortune 500 company.

Peices of the WTC.

Cigars dipped in...

The clinton Legacy.

He is Arkansas trailer trash and an embarassment to this great nation.

I'm actually headed east-southeast at the end of May, and I'd do it, but I'm not sure I want to do it with my children along. I think there's a chance of being arrested, actually. You think?

The Carbohydrate Addict's diet is working for me so if I'm going to do it I need to do it soon. :-) I won't be the right "shape" to really do it right too much longer! :-D

I'd recommend leaving the children at home. I'd also recommend you NOT go alone....and maybe even have someone at a distance with a camera.

Just in case.

They're such pigs who knows....BUT! I'd still like to believe that this is still America where you can do that sort of thing FREELY. So go, have fun, and DO report back!!!
