[history]
Just caught this update on Gretas show, and that Aziz may have some information on the Captains location.
CBS Radio had said that Saddam may have taken Scott to North Tikrit or Syria.

Tariq's religion doesn't promise him 72 virgins if he kills an infidel. Perhaps he's more inclined to help us out. It would be absolutely unbelievable and wonderful if we were able to find Capt. Spiecher.

...the Captains location. Hey, if he is still alive, then he should be promoted to where his peers are. He should be LT Col Scott Spiecher by now.
To: ewing
I hope it's true, even though I hate the thought of relying on Tariq Aziz for information...

The "information" was that Speicher died in 1991 when his plane went down. I don't believe this. I also don't believe the other claim he reportedly made that he saw SH after the 2 bombings.

Please follow the other thread tonight about Tesla coils and 750,000 volts of electricity.

IIRC, he's been promoted twice since he went missing.
Also, a Navy Capt. is the same as a Col.

He is a Naval Aviator -- Captain in the Navy is equivalent to Colonel in the Air Force, Army and Marine Corps, i.e., he is an 0-6.
When he was shot down, he was a Lieutenant Commander (0-4). He has been promoted with his peers.

AZIZ is throwing darts blindfolded trying to hope to hit a winner in the dirty lieing game of "I don't know anything but it saves my ass if they think I do" I suggest a Kurd questioner, alone with him for 24 hours.

you got that right , i must say that it really digs under my skin that he is refered to a "christian". the media demons must get a real kick outa this. that really burns me up.

I wouldn't think Aziz is in ANY position to be lying to the United States of America.

The "information" was that Speicher died in 1991 when his plane went down.Later investigation of the event called the certainty of this claim into question. Turns out that the initial call on the weapon (a surface-to-air missile) was off; it was actually a missile fired from a MiG-25 interceptor.

To: ewing
CBS Radio had said that Saddam may have taken Scott to North Tikrit or Syria. Did you mean North Korea perhaps? I think we would have already found him in North Tikrit.
To: ewing
Tariq Aziz lies a lot, he is still aiming for the manor in Britain.
The family does deserve to know, can you imagine 12 years in limbo........ terrible.
To: Uncle George
He will squeal early on.
