US Forces in Saudi Arabia to be coming home!
Foxnews.

Posted on 04/28/2003 9:30:44 AM PDT by ConservativeMan55

Major Garrett is reporting on Foxnews that US Military Forces in the Persian Gulf region will be reduced dramatically soon because of the fall of the Iraqi regime...developing.

This is also helpful inserts Major Garrett because Al-Queda's major recruiting point is that America has forces in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East...

Take that you Liberals who thought bombing Iraq would further "Irritate" Al-Queda!

This is good news. I thought I read that a large part of the Saudi airbase will also be moved to Qatar. This (the Saudi component) was all part of the plan.

Al Queda's still bent out of shape about the Florida recount.

Not to mention their furor over America's failure to ratify the Kyoto treaty.

Smuckers Jelly is a primary sponsor of The Today Show. Before today, I was only boycotting the show, and not watching it. But now I am boycotting the advertisers that help sponsor the show because today Matt Lauer and Madonna appeared on The Today Show singing her new Anti-American song.
And if thats not enough, Al Roker is out on the talk show circuit promoting hate crime legislation because he couldn't get a taxi cab fast enough!

Saudi Arabia can kiss our butt now- why should we pay them (and pretoect them) with a US base in their country when we have grateful Iraq and Kuwait.

Oh MY!
If I had ever bought the stuff (we can afford the store brands), I would boycott it now.
Pity about Al Roker. I loved him when he was in Cleveland.

Seems a silly thing to say....... I sincerely doubt that pulling troops out of Saudi Arabia will molify Al Queda at all.

Its not silly at all. It has nothing to do with mollifying Al-Queda. It has to do with recruitment. Its much harder to use the statement that we are trying to take over the Arab world, if we have far less troops over there.

Why is SARS a keyword?

Right!! If the liberals think doing nothing would mollify Al-Queda they are stupider than I thought. Just what did we do to "irritate" them to cause 9/11?

What fool would think you can temper your behavior to prevent terrorists from harming you? The very fact that you even think of tempering your behavior proves the terrorists win.

Gaining control over your actions installs the terrorists in power rather than your own government. An easy takeover of a country.

Why is SARS a keyword?

I was wondering that too. There have been reports of suspected cases of SARS in Saudi Arabia, but they may very well be spurious. And this story says nothing about SARS.

And I doubt if SARS figured in the motivation for withdrawing our troops from Saudi, even if there are genuine cases of SARS in that country. Other countries where we have troops stationed are much more vulnerable to the disease.

The US troops in Saudi Arabia have been one of ObL's "talking points" all along. Now, how will Al Qaeda spin this - a victory of forcing the Americans off holy ground?

Some articles talk about the Saudi SARS case, but WHO does not show any.

Maybe we are leaving Saudi before we attack Saudi?

"I am deeply saddened."

How many notches above being 'deeply concerned' is 'deeply saddened?'
