Freep Foxnews! I'm getting sick of this!
Posted on 04/27/2003 4:50:47 AM PDT by ConservativeMan55
I've e-mailed them once, and it doesn't seem to be getting their attention.
Julian Phillips on the weekend Fox and Friends is blatantly shoving his liberal crap down the throats of the viewers.
Not only that, but he keeps calling our President just "Bush" Here is an example of what he has been saying...
"Bush needs to be held accountable if we don't find these weapons of mass destruction. I understand that they are hard to find, but thats the only reason Bush went in there in the first place."
He said over and over virtually the same thing yesterday, and I e-mailed Foxnews, and nothing has changed.

It seems more than coincidence that there must be one negro, one white and one woman and they hardly ever bring anything factual to the table.
There are a lot of "It seems to me" comments with few or no sources. It is another part of the entertainment industry.
Brit Hume and Charlie Rose are about the only real TV interviewers that I find worth watching.

Sigh. . . . Let Julian be disrepectful, it makes our side look better. Come on people. FOX is 10 times better and more credible IF they have both sides. Make it "all conservatives all the time" and they have NO relevance whatsoever.

Please drop the racial thing. This is NOT about race, but about professional demeanor.

You are so right. I can't stand the weekend show for the same reason.

Fair and balanced can be done with professionalism and courtesy.

I'm driving a boat, fishing and typing. Are you in the Florida Keys? If so, you're making ol' PJ here awfully mad for not inviting me along. However, considering the weather today, maybe you did me a favor by neglecting the invite. Plus I wouldn't want to ruin your boat deck with my lunch all over it.

" How are WE going to repair the damage"?!!!
I had the same reaction. I wish someone had said the obvious, "That's nuts. The question is, "how will the French repair the damage to their relationship with us?"

"simply opposed to Julian because he is black"
I don't think that is correct at all. Loren Greene is a
very competent news reporter and host. When she was
on with Julian, a number of times she glanced at him as if to say,
"WHAT the HELL are you saying?"....

Your wonderful reprint of General Patton's speech on your profile page notwithstanding, I playfully request that you get your head out of your arse.
What kind of credibility would FOXNEWS have if every pie hole spouted our Conservative view without a token balance?
Do you want FOXNEWS to be run like the DU or at times, like FreeRepublic...where any negative opinions are banned and/or Zotted?
Lighten up. Who cares what that goober Phillips says on Sunday AM?
To get incensed that the flagrantly weak, mealy-mouthed LEFT speaks ill of President Bush on FOXNEWS shows a little over-the-top, IMNSHO.
Stay well!

YAWN! Much Ado about NOTHING. So a liberal HOST is disrespectful. What else is new?

Someone should call the White House and let the president know he can now declare the war over: people on FR are back to their bickering and pissing contests.

I am also sick of 'Chuckles', 'E.D. wannabe' and 'balanced', the balanced end of fair and balanced. They have nothing constructive to give, just a big laughin and they show they know nothing that is going on, nothing at all. The weekdnd additon of Fox and Friends is bad. No, it terrible.

In such a position, it is his responsibility to be informed, respectful to the President AND the President's supporters, to conduct questioning in a reasonably informed manner, and get basic facts correct... I stopped watching the weekend crew weeks ago. They don't do their homework and IMHO they're not bright enough to "wing it".

A lot of energy wasted on this MINOR LEAGUE stuff. A liberal is disrespectful on the tube... OOOOH! OOOOH! STOP THE WORLD! I PROTEST THIS OUTRAGE!..... yawn.

Ok folks... We need people like Julian on Fox news... #1 they are fair and balanced... I hear just as many of the conservative commentators say just "Bush".
We need Julian to show that there are those other opinions and viewpoints out there.. so that we know there are people that may not agree with us.. I mean why do you think the loony left thinks that everyone belives the way "they" do.. its because the liberal media doesn't give an opposing view... so they are shocked when they hear an opposite opinion...
I welcome people like Julian and Alan Combs.. they keep us in touch with what is in the liberal mindset.. Fair and Balanced folks... no reason to get him fired just because he has a different view... we want to hear both sides and we are free to disagree with the side we don't agree with... He certainly leans to the left it seems but I've seen E.D. Hill play devils advocate on more than one occassion also... Lets give Julian this.. at least he is on a network that lets him have a different point of view.. he is on the right network... a news network with integrity...
