There is no better analysis of how controlling language controls the ability to think politically than the discussion in George Orwell's "1984."

This is pretty cool, I think I will save it as a Word doc.

On the basic rights, I would add that the basic "rights" satirized in the article are not really rights mainly because they are provided by government, while the rights for which the U.S.A. was truly founded are those which protect us from government.

Any time "rights" are provided by the whim and discretion of a government they are really not rights, but chains, by which the people are enslaved.

Right! It is so handy I printed it to post next to my puter to remind me of the terminal asininities of the idiotic leftists (RATS) living among us. These leftist words contaminate the atmosphere (a form of pollution) and confuse the weak-minded.

Adam Sparks hit a 500 ft home run with this article! The amazing thing is that the article actually appeared in something closely related (SFGate.com) to the daily purveyor of all those words, the commie rag called the SF Chronicle.

Basic Rights: New rights not found anywhere in the Constitution...

...but found in the Communist Manifesto.

((((((((((ping)))))))))))))))

This is worth a read...lol...maybe we'll be able to figure out the liberals now since they have often made little or no sense before!

If we believe this piece, then we must learn the language well and take every possible opportunity for refutation.

If you make a refutation and see someonce wince, you are effective. Impolite put downs will be required if the war is to be won. Leftists are pacifist and will loose a real war of words.

Good article. Definitions are the guardians of reason and logic. The socialists have been very cleverly dissembling our language for a long time.
