While some "liberals" are pacifists, I think the opposite is true of most of the Left, as their history illustrates.
The reign of terror in France through Pol Pot in Cambodia are good examples. Leftist heroes have names like Che, Lenin, Saddam, etc.

"believe I did read somewhere that Orwell was a socialist. I've never studied the man...maybe one day I will."
I didn't know that either! An Animal Farm" would be a joy compared to what the socialists have in store for us!
So little time to take it all in! This is indeed a good post!

Good article. Definitions are the guardians of reason and logic. The socialists have been very cleverly dissembling our language for a long time.

Fills one with righteous indignation, doesn't it?
Reminds me of some bumperstickers seen locally...
"Celebrate Divircity... Subvert the Predominant Paridgm!"
This next one was so long, I had to follow too close in order to read it...
"Isn't it sad that those who really know how to run government are too busy teaching school."
This is a grand thread. Some of the comments are classic. Like the one about white being the most inclusive and diverse color of all.
I'm saddened that the author hasn't sat through enough public meetings or else he would have certainly included the tiresome liberal phrase... "Crying Unmet Need!"
I am so weary of all these crashing liberal bores destroying the greatest culture and customs ever evolved! We really should develop the power and process to stop their verbal vowel movement mischief!!!
I think I would have named this article "The Left's Weapons of Mass Disruption!

We really should develop the power and process to stop their verbal vowel movement mischief!!! Well, besides the fact that this is at least the fifth article I have seen over the last couple of years adressing exactly this subject in exactly the same manner, you have forgotten our secret weapon...
The power of pathetic license!

If I remember Orwell saw the horrors of the left and was writing a warning. He was a reformed leftist. Hence Animal farm and 1984.

It's finally possible to understand what the hell the Left is talking about with this handy-dandy guide. LOL! Very true.
The most amazing thing is that this was printed in the SF Chronicle, although it was probably buried in section G, page 25, printed in tiny font with the ink smudged.

"Animal Rights: 1) The concept of the supremacy of animals' rights over those of humans. 2) The application of the U.S. Constitution to animals in their legal defense." This one is about the only one I disagree with. I know some of the animal rights groups go to the extreme, but the movement to get animal abuse raised to the felony level is a good thing. Too many animal abusers only get a small light slap on the hand. It is way past time these people are punished for their terrible abuses to dogs, cats, horses and countless other animals. IMHO
