Email from James Carville via DNC
DNC Email | 04/24/03 | James Carville

Dear (name withheld),

These people are playing for keeps.

If you've already renewed your membership to the DNC -- I'd like to say THANK YOU!

But if you haven't -- and if we give this Bush crew four more years in the White House to do their dirty work, we won't recognize the America they've created. So, I'm writing to ask you a blunt question: Why are you sitting out one of the most critical fights we Democrats have ever faced? Unless the Democratic Party's records are wrong, we're now almost halfway through the year and you haven't renewed your DNC membership.

I don't need to tell you -- Republicans have a record they should be afraid to run on. They've wrecked the economy. Faster than you can say "tax breaks for the wealthy," they've turned huge budget surpluses into historic budget deficits. They've sat on their hands as American families have watched billions of dollars vanish from their hard-earned savings and retirement accounts.

Since George W. Bush started mismanaging our economy over two million Americans have lost their jobs.

Worst of all, they lie.

They craft a plan to let polluters off the hook and call it their "Clear Skies" initiative. They clear the way for timber companies to destroy our public lands and call it their "Healthy Forests" plan. They say we can't pass our problems on to the next generation, then they create budget deficits that pour red ink all over our children's futures. They talk about racial equality, then they appoint judges with abysmal records on civil rights.

In 2002, they even went so far as to defeat Senator Max Cleland, a decorated Vietnam veteran who lost his limbs in the war, by challenging his patriotism. Then, they appointed Ralph Reed, the former Christian Coalition leader who crafted the vicious campaign against Cleland, to play a major role in the President's re-election campaign.

Need any more clues as to what kind of campaign they're planning to run?

Renew your DNC membership today with as big a contribution as you can possibly give. Then, let's stick it to these guys. Like Harry Truman said, we won't give 'em hell. We'll just tell the truth and it will feel like hell.

What do you say? Let's roll up our sleeves and go to work.

Sincerely,

James Carville

Got this in my email today. Here is the picture included in the email. Seriously.

I also like how every link takes you to the page to renew your membership. Not to what the sentence that forms a link says.

Oh my God, they do! I was expecting those links to lead me to some article or study that would confirm that the evil republicans are big liars; I guess they don't have the juice! And James Carville: Lord, that man is repulsive. It's like he wears his soul on the outside.

Well, serpent head has re-surfaced. I guess he had to see how the war turned out before spewing his bile. I wonder if Mary has served him up a dish of crow?

I wouldn't be surprised if the DNC booked the Dixie Chicks to perform at the 2004 Convention.

How the hell does CNN get to give an active member of the DNC a forum from which to opine five nights a week?

How can Mary Matalin stand to live with this man?

The slithering snake is spewing his usual lickspittle mantra. Just think what it means about the criminal enterprise democrat party that they have to openly appeal to the anti-American bitterness toward Bush winning in 2000 and the Pubbies winning in 2002! They not-so-secretly wished for more body bags and failure to find solutions in the flaming Middle East. Now they are so desperate, they're on the verge of self-destructing with their bitterness turned irrational hatred! Rave on, James, America has awakened and is now paying attention to your party's corrupting of America. Your special interests groups (the anti-Life harridans of NOW, the 'act up' raving homosexuals demanding protection for their disease producing sexual proclivities, the failed containment defenders in international policy, the socialist demanding more tax and spend, etc.) are revealing the true nature of the big, ugly, anti-American tent that has become the Democrat party.

Can someone tell me how this guy sleeps at night? Seriously. Is it because he's not human? I would buy that. Otherwise I figure he must take drugs every third day or something.

They've sat on their hands as American families have watched billions of dollars vanish from their hard-earned savings and retirement accounts. I wasn't aware that there were all that many billionaires in the country. He must be talkin' 'bout Mahtha and a few other RAT donors bank accounts. boo hoo hoo
